“Highly recommend trying Merienda’s. I went there based on a recommendation from a friend. Loved the vibe, mom/pop, cute restaurant, with a lot of delicious options. Tried the spicy shrimp with garlic rice, pancit, ube latte with oat milk, pink calamansi lemonade, & mango cheesecake. Delicious! Will definitely go back to try other dishes. Very reasonably priced for the portion size. The guy at the register was friendly & enthusiastic with helping us select our entree.“

“I had a great experience at Teriyaki Madness. The service was fast and friendly, and the staff made sure everything went smoothly. The food was fresh and flavorful, definitely a step above your average quick spot. The place was also clean and well-kept, which shows they take responsibility for their space and customers. I’ll definitely be coming back.“

“First off food was really good but was a tad bit on the spicy side. Also, wish they had fountain drinks instead of cans. Also, the service is beyond slow. Waited about 10 minutes for someone to come by for drinks and the waitress never came back to ask if everything looked ok and for refills. Its clear the staff here are not trained at all“

“This past December marked the first time in over 36 years that I've had a decent corndog for a change. When I was growing up a navy brat from June '80-Nov '87 on a US base in Japan, there was a place directly across the main hwy right outside off base. They used to make em fresh but not the way they do it here with the different styles to choose from. For decades, any corndog I've had anywhere has been from frozen, pretty bland and not so enjoyable. They are really good here and indeed something different. The good thing about this venue is that there's really no other immediate competitor with the exception of Kong Dog down in Vernon Hills.Hope this place continues to rake in the business and stays for decades to come, awesome corndogs!“

“Lately, I have had trouble finding great tasting, local food. A lot of places have that frozen dinner, mass produced taste. However, Asian Fusion was a pleasant surprise. I ordered the orange chicken and crab rangoon, something basic to determine if it is worth coming back. Will definitely be coming back to order other things off the menu. The rice appeared fresh and did not have any hardness or that leftover the next day and reheated quickly feeling. The orange chicken was amazing, and had a bit of a punch to it that I have not tasted anywhere else. Even the broccoli had snap and was not overcooked or soggy looking. The dinner came with a free egg roll which tasted just as great. It is connected to a rolled ice cream shop as well, and the person working the counter was also rolling up ice cream for other diners.“

“was enjoying a nice evening with my son at the mall until Paul Blart stopped me. she says the K9 dog in training alerted on me even though I've already passed this dog atleast 5 times. there are 2 actual officers there with her but they hang back with the dog as she approached me. she says she needs to ask me some questions. I said ok and her first question was do I have any firearms on me. I'm on their property and seen the no firearms sign so I was fine with that and told her no I don't. but her next question was a bunch of bs. she asks me if I have any firearms at home? how in the hell is that any of your business. she also proceeds to tell me it's illegal for me not to answer. I requested that the actual officers come over figuring they could shine a little light of this. but nope, they were really of no assistance. what a joke! keep training that dog because he's got a long way to go.“
