A real hidden gem in the middle of Amish country. It serves Cuban/Floridian foods such as grouper sandwiches, gumbo, seafood quiche, crab cakes and Key Lime pie. They also serve burgers, German potato soup, and German flourless cakes for those who aren't as adventurous. Everything we ordered was exquisite. A gem in central Illinois. Limited hours and days make it a bit of a challenge to check it out but it is worth the effort. Our food was delicious! We had a chicken schnitzel special. Being too full for dessert we brought Key Lime Pie home with us and it was yummy. Heads up - they do not take plastic.
I loved this place and a few times a year I'd come from Chicago to eat here. It was well worth the drive. I guess part of the building collapsed on the far corner of the building. They will be missed.
