“Had dinner here 2 nights in a row due to work. Food was really good. The wings were excellent! Some of the best I've ever had. The Ruben was good. Just know that they chop the meat, then toss it in the sauce. So the texture is different from a typical sliced beef ruben. But the flavors are there. Fries are crispy. Excellent beer prices. Service is fast and friendly. Atmosphere is nice. Its a typical sports/outdoorsman type bar with alot of animal and fish mounts on the walls. Plenty of TVs for watching your sporting event of choice. Large wrap around bar and a center fire place adds a cool touch. Bathrooms are clean and well lit. I'd definitely stop here again for lunch or dinner.”

“We drove to Mendota to visit a museum that had a section dedicated to Wild Bill Hickock. After that we began to look for a local food place to have lunch. We stopped to ask someone who was on their porch, and they said we should try Parkway. My grandson and I loved the place. Such friendly people working there. I asked our waitress if they were all family, because they all looked they could be, haha. She said they were a family. Grandson ordered a big hamburger meal and I chose the pork tenderloin. He was happy with his meal, and I must say the tenderloin was not only big, it was so very delicious. One of the best I have ever eaten. Not sure when we will get back to Mendota, but when we do I know where we will have a meal. God bless this family.”

“Dont know what happened tonight. Ordered an old drink thats not on the menu but ive always got it, even thru last month. Ordered another drink and waited over 30 min. Sent mushrooms back because they were burnt, literally stuck to the dish. Heard kitchen staff holler "for real" lol. Ended up walking out after 40 minutes still no drinks. Biscuits finally came out after 25min. Manager and kitchen staff need some retraining. She didnt even come talk to us. Normally great. idk what they were doin tonight. BTW there was maybe 3 other tables. Hopefully management and kitchen staff get it together.”

“As we all know, Rip’s chicken is clearly the BEST. Have you ever thought about ordering Rips as a catering service? Not only was the service great, but the food was amazing. My wedding guests raved about it for weeks. We still hear about how much they loved the food. They make the best homemade Pasta and the chicken, as always was so good. They offered so many different sides to choose from and everything turned out perfectly. They had a nice setup and their girls kept the guest tables clean the entire time they were there. Seriously, by the end of the night I don’t think I saw one plate or empty cup on a single table! The owner works seamlessly with the venue and Rips staff to make sure your dinner services are top notch. I would 10/10 recommend Rip’s Tavern in general, but especially for an event. Thank you Rip’s for giving our guests a wonderful dinner experience!! 🐓🤍💍”

“I stopped in there for the first time yesterday. Starbucks has always been my go to for coffee. I ordered my normal, a mocha. It was made quickly, the staff was very nice and friendly, and the mocha one of the best I’ve ever had! This will be my new coffee place when I am in Peru!”

“I had breakfast there staff greeted me with good morning I had 3 eggs 4 sausage patties hash browns and wheat toast and coffee it was 15. Well worth the price dining area was clean. They are also offering 3 meals due to snap crisis”
