We were in Arlington Heights for a memorial service and looking for a nice dinner. So glad we found this neighborhood gem. The parking lot was scary with work being done but we didn't let that discourage us and I am so glad. The complementary bread basket with focaccia was delicious. All dinners come with soup or salad. My husband was delighted with his the lobster ravioli topped with lobster sauce and sauteed shrimp. I loved my veal Marsala. For the quality and quantity of food, it was more than reasonable. We live 45 minutes to an hour from there but, we will be back.

Excellent food, gracious and attentive staff! A great choice for really good Italian food, and I'm Italian so picky about where I go. I highly recommend LA Zingara!

The service is amazing. Everyone we encountered was smiling and helpful. The food is outstanding. The bread basket was warm and fresh. The entire experience was exactly what I needed after a long week.

Absolutely the best Italian food experience in a while, the desserts are a must try along with their Lasagna and Beets Salad. Overall a fun place to meet/celebrate.The only downside is their service, felt they're a bit understaffed!

I visited for a lunch-time private event. They had our party in a separate room. I was not the host but want to review because of how awesome they are.I can't eat gluten and they did an AMAZING job! Instead of bruschetta on bread, they had bruschetta on the tastiest grilled eggplant, they had gluten free pasta, a salad, chicken with cheese and sauce and steamed broccoli, ice cream for dessert. The staff made sure to tell me it was a gluten free plate for the courses where it wasn't as obvious. Love the communication, love the flavors.

Hosted a baby shower here for 24 people. Food was plentiful and delicious and the service was wonderful. They went above and beyond to accommodate one of our guests who had many food allergies. Communication leading up to the event was thorough. Would definitely consider this restaurant again for an event!

We got seated right away, ordered and then waited over an hour for our food. When it came, some of it was cold. It was very loud and a bit crazy last night in there last night. There was a table right behind us with four kids who were running around and being way too loud. The parents weren't really keeping them under control. They definitely over stayed there welcome. This restaurant is not really for small children.

Delicious food and many choices. I had a Ravioli dish with a cream sauce, artichoke hearts and sun dried tomatoes. The ravioli was homemade and surprisingly light. Two people in our group had the Giambotta and raved about it. Same with the Chicken Vesuvio. Bread was homemade and warm. My Italian family will definitely be back!

A fun, energetic evening with a very good live singer. The owner Jesus always provides the personal touch. Veal was outstanding, bruschetta with dates was a pleasant treat, and the wine list is great!

We had a table for -4. We have been taking out here for years , however we decided to dine in.Didn't realize they had expanded and added live entertainment which was excellent , not too loud , and had the place singing along with some new country artist renditions along with some Tony Bennett . Food and service were exceptional. Would come back to dine in again.

Really good restaurant. The staff are punctual and the food not only tastes good, but has unique options I haven't seen in any other restaurant in the suburbs. The familiar dishes all taste much better here than anywhere within a 30 mile radius.

This was our first time at La Zingara, we have been wanting to try this restaurant for a while. I made reservations for a Saturday at 6:30, it was crowded and very loud. There was music playing even louder than the patrons. The tables were so close together that the servers could not even get through. Our food was delicious. We will try it again on a weekday to see if it's any better.

The added room certainly doesn't have the cozy atmosphere of the mail dining room. The food was amazing, but the service was slow. The time between apps, salad and then the mail course was longer than it should have been. Definitely lost a desire for dessert by the time it was presented after the main course.

Been enjoying them for 15+ years. New owners (who were previous employees) as of a couple of years ago have spiffed up the interior and the menu. Very welcoming, nice moderate wine selection, very nice main menu. Went on Valentine's Day and it was a fun atmosphere. Free plentiful parking, easy in and out. They have a new second room for larger parties.
