Oberweis Ice Cream and Dairy Store

Gross. I was a huge Oberweis fan previously. I ordered a mint chocolate chip single scoop in a waffle cone. $8.32. The ice cream I received was unusually bright and a smaller scoop than usual. The ice cream was already melting, but not a creamy melt. It was grainy. Really bad. The cone was stale and I was left with this gross aftertaste. Never again. straight to the garbage.

There is a clear lack of management, no accountability regarding mistakes and attitude while issuing a refund. As in snatching the receipt out of my hand, acting irritated as if doing your job is the problem.

Do not go here. Something has changed. I have been going to Oberweis for over 20 years. There was a very rude and nasty lady working here. She had me wait over 10 minutes for just 2 scoops of coffee ice cream and then there were free toppings out, but she claimed I wasn't allowed to have any, but everyone else could. There is not a manager available, but I will be reporting her to corporate.

Food was great. Employees were less than friendly

Unfortunately, this ice cream place has really gone downhill. My mother came to visit from another country, and I wanted to show her a nice place where we could enjoy ice cream. The place was dirty, half of the items from the menu were unavailable, and the ice cream was not served in glass bowls anymore, only in paper cups.

Wonderful staff its a shame they are overstimulated, disrespectful parents letting their kids run around and destroy the place because they dont know true discipline in such an establishment. These staff needs a raise.

Pulled up to the drive-thru, “We will be with you in a moment.” (Male voice) , 2 minutes a song, (female voice) - just so you know it’s going to be 15-20 minutes before we get to you…Memorial Day weekend and it’s 88 degrees out and two people working. They should promote the genius that wrote that schedule.

Oberweiss is no longer the same as before, the last two times of our visit left a bad impression, very dirty, the boys work in very dirty conditions, the floor is dirty unwashed, the sole of the shoes sticks to the floor. I'm just shocked that this has never happened in this place before, the staff has changed and it has become dirty.

This store gets orders wrong CONSTANTLY. Whether you order in-store or from an app, there is absolutely no attention to detail. My items are incorrect or missing nearly every time.

Can’t review the ice cream because we never got any. Walked in and got in line behind 4 people. Waited 20 minutes and left. In that time, not one customer got their order. 3 employees and zero ice cream cones made in 20 minutes. In fact, not one employee so much as TOUCHED ice cream in any form. One girl took orders and the other two opened cabinets and walked around in circles. Maybe try paying more than minimum wage and see if you can get better workers.

Very slow service. Line of 5 people takes 20 minutes just to make an order. And then another 20 minutes to get it.

Absolute trash of service. Saturday evening and they have 1.5 people working and they prioritize online orders. 20 minutes to service 1 person. Management is pathetic. Avoid. Go anywhere but here.
