Nice place. Friendly staff. Has outdoor seating and tall buildings, so you can enjoy a meal and drink in the shade on the patio.

Recently had a celebration of life family event here. Not only was the food excellent but the staff was phenomenal. Service at its best.

I was excited when my manager gave me a gift card. Told me the big man was happy with the work we had done. Get lunch on me.
I tried to call to make an order no one picked up. I did try 5 times my manager he had them pick up and immediately hung up on him but he tried again and got his order in me still trying.
Go to the restaurant with my manager. Not even buzzing I asked if they are understaffed he says no I told him what happened I get a . Oh sorry in a way that just makes you want to say something. But I bit my lip. There was some nice little old lady's sitting outside I told them what happened and gave them my gift card. Drinks on me. Hop they have a time at least I feel better. Still hungry thow.

They answered the phone and hung up on me. Then proceeded to ignore the calls for the next half our. We went in person ask the manager if they were short staffed and he replied no. Extremely difficult to place an order over the phone. Absolutely disappointing.

I guess there's a certain type of person that enjoys it. The food is fine, salads are huge and usually over dressed. The drink arnt very strong so save your money and get something canned. Summer staff is good, winter staff usually isn't. Sit outside or you might get plowed over inside at night. Always loud.

I’ve been coming here since it first opened. We always loved it. Great food, good service and fun atmosphere. I’ve been there twice in about 10 days and definitely not the same. First, the vibe was very “sterile”. Then, I was stunned by the physical menu. Everything packed onto one page. I could hardly read it. Part of the fun before was perusing the book like menu they used to have. And it looks like they serve far fewer options. Last, the servers were OK but seemed rushed even tho it was pretty empty (we were there for lunch). I’ll admit my friend and I lingered for a long time time catching up and it was obvious the server was annoyed. In the end, she asked for my card then barely remembered to return it and never officially checked us out. She gave herself a 20% tip. We had to ask for the final bill. We went there specifically because we thought we could linger. The food was good, not great, but my judgement may be impacted by the overall experience. I suspect we’ll go to one of the pubs in Palatine or Mt P next time.

Dinner alfresco on a beautiful spring day… shared with my wife and two of my three daughters. The only thing missing was my oldest daughter. It doesn’t get much better than this.
Peggy Kinnane’s delivered on every front — Guinness on tap, great cocktails at a decent price, and delicious tavern food in a setting that made you want to linger. The kind of place that feels right the moment you sit down.
We’ll definitely be back to work our way through the burgers and salads. Highly recommend.
