This restaurant is closed ! The voice mail suggests they are open, but a sign on the door says the are closed for remodeling. While the were open the food was very good. Hope they are able to reopen and succeed.

My second time and it was as great as the first time. Tasty ramen, ordered Osaka Shio. Amazing

Great unassuming ramen bar tucked behind Goodwill. The Vegan Ramen hit the spot! I enjoyed the spicy broth loaded with seitan, mushrooms, bok choy, carrots and a heap of buckwheat noodles! I used to seeing tofu, so the seitan was a nice twist. I slurped away all the broth and veggies and left a small pile of noodles at the bottom. My hubby enjoyed his chicken ramen. The sweet plum wine is tasty and my hubby liked the aged malt whiskey. The restaurant was packed on Tuesday night with only a couple of open tables - I can see why! If you're craving ramen, check out this hidden gem.

Love the ramen. The broth is not too salty, about just right.

Great ramen and nice overall selection of Japanese sides. Any dishes involving chicken is a must try. Chicken broth in the ramen is light yet flavorful.

This place is now our most favorite ramen place in the suburbs! We were excited when we heard this location was opening up in Arlington Heights! It didn't disappoint.

Finally! Ramen Takeya open in surburb! When I saw this on yelp, i didn't hesitate to make reservation. The ramen said chicken paitan (it's mean the broth is from chicken) the famous one. The grilled pork belly was Soo smooth like butter. The portion just right with the price. I suggest to take reservations first during busy hour. Recommend appetizer: takoyaki, chicken karage. For ramen: miso spicy (if you like spicy) chicken paitan and Osaka shio. There is no kids menu but there is rice bowl with fried chicken aka karage. Or order extra ramen.

Great ramen! Would recommend it over Santouka (Mitsuwa) and Ramen Misoya. *gasp*!
