“This place is the place to be! the people are friendly, TANYA (T-2) is the greatest bartender, ever, and the drinks are great because of her expertise! The view behind the bar is a pleasure to check out, and if you've never been here, you've been missing out! Please note, there is free darts on Tuesdays and free pool on Sundays! “When I used to live in West Chicago a couple of years ago, my fiancé now husband and I used to go there all the time and his Uncle Mike. I recommend this place 100%, the drinks are good, the bartenders are friendly, and the Viper Burger was our favorite. Alan is an awesome guy with a great sense of humor. The atmosphere is chill, welcoming and you'll have a great time. When I say to stop by The Bunker, I mean it lol 😃. Whenever we are in town again, we are definitely going to try stopping by. 😌✨“

“I haven’t had the opportunity to check the restaurant itself but I order through UberEats constantly and need to share how wonderfully delicious their South West Chicken Salad is. I’ve had it multiple times and it is consistent, flavorful and beautifully presented. Definitely give Geneva Ale House a try.“

“Came here for the first time with my fiance a few days ago. We are new to the area. Definetly will be returning! The cheese curds are SO good. A very nice environment. The staff is SO nice and friendly. Our waitress had her 2 little girls with her helping out, it was the sweetest thing.“

“Not only have I loved Hawthornes from when I was a kid growing up in West Chicago! It was the PERFECT place to have my wedding. Lou, Heidi and Kelly did fantastic and helped make my dream come alive! Every question I had they answered and were able to accommodate so much! Heidi was in CONSTANT communication with me and was able to give advice and help me through the whole process. Her suggestions were so helpful and she helped during the ceremony and reception. I could not have done it without them. This place treats you like family and has amazing service! When my husband and I went to pick up our things the next morning we were planning on taking 2 trips and Lou let us borrow his truck that is how amazing and friendly they are! WE LOVE YOU HAWTHORNES! Thanks for making our wedding the best day of our lives(: not to mention EVERY guest couldn’t stop talking about how fun the venue was and there was something for everyone to do, wiffleball, volleyball, giant beer pong, bags, dancing, and more! Everyone was able to have fun the whole time!“

“Great bar and great food. The wings are very good, wet or dry, there are a lot of options, I usually go with the Cajun dry rub.. Bingo is Wednesday night and a lot of fun, plus the wings are half off that day. Burgers are excellent. Jackie is fun and is always lively. Good people there too. And some slots if you’re into that.“

“I LOVE the Friday Fish Fry, but they’ve got enough menu options for everyone to enjoy a meal. The fresh fish, awesome wings, burgers, and rib-eye steak sandwich are all delicious. Pair any meal with the beer or drink of your choice, catch a game on one of their multiple TVs and you’ve got a nice evening! Be sure to say hey to Natalie and Archie, they’re two of the best bartenders you’ll meet.“

“We enjoyed our time together as a family. We dined and drank at UP North after attending our Christmas Eve church service. We enjoyed the food, service, prices were good, ambiance was cozy & cabin like feel. We sat at a low/ standard table. They had many high top tables as well all the tables seemed very nice, every place to sit seemed like it would be comfy.“

“My wife and I celebrated our 23 year anniversary listening to some dope DJz this past Friday night. We had an absolute blast! Our server Chris was great and he made sure we were taken care of. My wife says he is her new best friend. We’re from out of town but everyone made us feel like family. Thank you all and We can’t wait to come back.“
