“Not many of the old neighborhood bars left in Peoria any but this is a great one. The neighborhood itself isnt what it used to be, but a good group of regulars make this still a good place. Whitey serves up great lunches also. Basic cheeseburger, wings and pizza and cold drinks!“

Highly recommend this place if you are looking for a trouble/drama free evening. Google is asking about the food for some reason. This is a bar. No food. Just frozen pizza and some chips.

“Went to Mike's Tavern in West Peoria IL for lunch today. This is a small hole in the wall bar and grill. You first think of a two and a half garage that someone turned into a bar. You would be close . The owner is happy to tell you the history of the place. I had their Tenderloin. Crispy crust, toasted and buttered bun. On the thin side of tenderloins but still thicker then most. Just comes with chopped onions and at least a dozen pickles. No lettuce or tomatoes. Husband had the Double Cheeseburger. Once again only chopped onions and pickles. We shared an order of Truffel Oil Fries. Hot and crispy. They were hard to stop eating! Normally these are Parmesan Truffle Oil Fries but they were out of Parmesan. Definitely worth a stop in for lunch. Kitchen isn't open on Monday or Tuesday. Small menu but food is GOOD EATS!“

“My goto watering hole.. only bar in town that caters to the midnight crews who are looking for a brew or 2 after work. "Indoor" beer garden let's ya smoke a cig in the dead of winter & still stay warm. Cold beer still has ice chunks hanging on em. Pool table in the back to help pass time... I love this place & the bartenders who work there are a blast.“

“Took a friend of mine that I haven't seen in a couple years to MacDuffs, I used to frequent McCritters, and told him, same owners, people, I kinda knew that on Sundays no food is served. So I called, she said just Pizza's. Good enough. I knew I wouldn't see my regular waitress etc. Lo and behold I walk in and there's Dee, a bartender that worked at Mccritters!! My friend LOVED the pizza! What food that was at McCritters, is at MacDuffs. I knew that, but not my friend. So good seeing Dee again, atmosphere was excellent, food, clean bar, went out on the patio, so nice!!“

“Great service at this place! Had a Golden Tee machine and darts as well. We did order a pizza that was not very good. I don't think they are homemade so whatever brand they have isn't very good. Although it could just be me but hardly any pizza sauce and like barely any cheese way too much meat on it. If u love meat more than life this is your pizza! Lol otherwise a really great place to stop in and hang for a bit!“

They've ran this far very well, they have awesome staff, it's definitely a neighborhood spot which I left to would love if I grew up in the area and this is where everybody knows your name whenever I'm in the area. I have to take a moment to stop and say hello to old friends And also to enjoy the ambience They always have good service. And when they do serve food, it's awesome.Totally enjoy the Time I spend there.

Parking: If you catch it on the wrong time there isnt a lot of parking. And wheelchair accessibility is not the best but Definitely doable, especially if you know anybody in there. They're always willing to help“

“We came along way and buy it be a New Year’s Eve. We didn’t look forward to coming to Peoria not having anything to do when we arrived. There were only like four cars in the lot so we figured we were pretty early for the New Year’s bash security at the front door said there was a $25 cover fee. There was no food and he said that there were only three people in the bartender inside, which disappointed me to the bottom of my heart when I come back to Peoria, maybe it will be a more greater experience being that they won’t be charging people at the door who in the world would pay $25 or New Year’s Eve and you didn’t even have food we didn’t come from Chicago to visit somewhere as such so waste of money not knowing what the atmosphere would be like once the crowd picked up, and since we werethe first ones in the crowd to be there before midnight. You could have at least let us in for free because just a couple hours after New Year’s you were packed that was the most ghetto thing I had ever heard of.“
