“Love this small town bar, great laid back vibes. The pudding shots are EXCELLENT!!! And so much fun! They have a pretty good selection of craft beers and have the trusted domestic light available… I came in for Bloody Mary’s today, I’ve struggled to find a good one in Peoria but Ashton’s are reliably excellent“
“We came along way and buy it be a New Year’s Eve. We didn’t look forward to coming to Peoria not having anything to do when we arrived. There were only like four cars in the lot so we figured we were pretty early for the New Year’s bash security at the front door said there was a $25 cover fee. There was no food and he said that there were only three people in the bartender inside, which disappointed me to the bottom of my heart when I come back to Peoria, maybe it will be a more greater experience being that they won’t be charging people at the door who in the world would pay $25 or New Year’s Eve and you didn’t even have food we didn’t come from Chicago to visit somewhere as such so waste of money not knowing what the atmosphere would be like once the crowd picked up, and since we werethe first ones in the crowd to be there before midnight. You could have at least let us in for free because just a couple hours after New Year’s you were packed that was the most ghetto thing I had ever heard of.“
“The Trolley is really a fun place to go to. The food is amazing and has a wonderful variety of food. I had the Asian Salad and husband had the tenderloin and AMAZING pasta salad. We had the onion rings as an appetizer- perfection ( hot & delicious). We eat here often because of the menu variety and great prices!“
“The drinks were good, but we were never approached by a waiter, so had to go to the bar for all our drinks. They have nice outside seating, but after a while, you can't exit. The 3 gates were locked!!! Made me think, what if there's an emergency??!! We won't be back.“
“Went to Mike's Tavern in West Peoria IL for lunch today. This is a small hole in the wall bar and grill. You first think of a two and a half garage that someone turned into a bar. You would be close . The owner is happy to tell you the history of the place. I had their Tenderloin. Crispy crust, toasted and buttered bun. On the thin side of tenderloins but still thicker then most. Just comes with chopped onions and at least a dozen pickles. No lettuce or tomatoes. Husband had the Double Cheeseburger. Once again only chopped onions and pickles. We shared an order of Truffel Oil Fries. Hot and crispy. They were hard to stop eating! Normally these are Parmesan Truffle Oil Fries but they were out of Parmesan. Definitely worth a stop in for lunch. Kitchen isn't open on Monday or Tuesday. Small menu but food is GOOD EATS!“
