“What can I say about the Users Center? I am not an employee of Fermilab, but fell upon the users center one afternoon while birdwatching on their spacious and beautiful open lands. I am eternally grateful to be embraced by many diverse , funny and intelligent, (of course ) employees of Fermilab who I now call my friends. The users center is open to all but mostly frequented by residents and employees of Fermi. There is a bar run by a creative and warm welcoming bartender and a menu that offers tasty appetizers, sandwiches and a few chef prepared entrees.“

“Intimate Irish bar with crazy good German food options. They aren’t shy with the pour for mixed drinks, and the prices are reasonable.

They had live music the night we were there, and it was really above average and quite enjoyable. Absolutely will return to explore more of the drinks and menu. Dinner and drinks ran about 44 dollars per person, but we chose from some of the more expensive items.

Kid-friendliness: Two families were there with young children eating dinner. The remaining patrons tended to be a bit older, 40+.“

“I frequent PoorBoys regularly, because of the atmosphere, the food is great, and at a great price. Most of all is the service, the ladies there are rock stars in the business. Plenty of tv's to view your favorite sport. Bring your family n friends for a great evening.“

“We used to come here, many years ago, then ventured elsewhere. We came back last month, and was pleasantly surprised with the food quality, and prompt service. We now do dine in, and carry out. No issues whatsoever...all good. Pub is now on our regular weekend circuit.“

“I had a great experience at Black Door Pub! The staff were welcoming, the drinks were enjoyable, and the DJ kept the energy high. The space features a modern open dance floor, VIP booths, and comfortable lounge seating. I came for the diverse crowd and the club-lounge vibe—and met some awesome young adults. “A nice remodeled spacious bar with the best fried pickles. Pool tables and tvs everywhere plus slot machines. The pizza was very good too. A really big menu and a big bar. I was impressed. The screen tvs are very big so it is easy to watch sport games while eating. It looks like s great spot for a small get together or to hang out with friends. Daily specials too.“
