First time eating food from Jesse's 2 big smothered pork chops w/thick tasty gravy, mashed potatoes very good right amount of salt. perfect subtle taste of pepper. Banana pudding good.

Local family owned & operated. Food was magnificent. It clearly shows they take a lot pride in their food. Good down home meals just like your Grandma used to cook. Southern comfort food. Nice manageable menu. There's parking on the side of the building also. We ordered the Jack fish & catfish meal with cabbage, potato salad & sweet potatoes for sides.

Today was my first time trying Jesse’s soul food. I ordered the smothered chops, greens, yams, and dressing. Also the fried chicken , Mac and green beans. Everything was sooo good. I will be back next Sunday. It was a slight wait so call in before you go.
