“I scoot through here pretty regularly. The staff are always quick and polite, and the drinks are always good! I'm a but addicted to the Chai, in all honesty. But the other day, I tried to come through for my usual only to find the place was closed. A sign was posted on the drive-thru intercom that read: "Sorry, closed due to high temperatures within the building".

At first, I was a bit disappointed. I was really looking forward to a little treat before I went into work. But after a bit, I was actually glad to see that.

It's felt frighteningly common for businesses to put profit over employee wellbeing these days. I used to be a pizza delivery driver, and I still have memories of being forced to deliver food during a harsh winter storm in 2016. It was so refreshing to see employees being prioritized over profit, even for just a little bit.

Here's sincerely hoping Scooters continues this behavior, and more businesses follow suit.“

“We stopped at this place on our long journey back home, and we are so glad we did! The smoothie bowls were amazing. Everything was so fresh and the atmosphere was very relaxing. The kids enjoyed playing the little games that were out. Many “to go” options available.
The mountain climber wellness shot and cold brew coffee gave me a great boost for the rest of the drive we had.

“This place is amazing!! I lived in Virginia Beach for 10 years and I loved going to tropical smoothie. We moved back to Edwardsville, Illinois 2 years ago and I really missed this place. “I love delivering at these smaller companies with few dock doors. They get right on unloading you. It's much better than the huge distributuon centers with a hundred or more doors, which sometimes make drivers wait for a few hours. Staff at this place knows how tricky the blind side backing can be, so they guide you through it expertly with hand signals until you're lined up straight with the dock door. They also tell you where to turn around when you're ready to leave the dock door, so you don't try making a left turn into a telephone pole as you pull away from the dock. The turnaround area is a little small for an 18 wheeler, but doable. You might want your tandems slid all the way forwards when turning around after leaving the dock. Staff was friendly and helpful. They even unloaded me on a day that was a day early according to their schedule, but which was the correct day according to my company. That allowed me to get to my other stop ok. I appreciate it.“
