the food was good i ordered a baxter salad with vinagarette and my wife ordered a green salad with ranch and got a baxter salad with vinagarette(same as me). i ate my salad as she watched then she ate her salad while i watched, no big deal . We both ordered NY strip. The steaks came, i got a NY strip and she got a filet, she sent it back for the NY strip that she order. She watched me eat my steak ( very slowly). We went to Baxter's for our anniversary and were pleasantly surprised for find a card congratulating us on our table. Very nice! We also received a complimentary dessert for our celebration. The food and service as always was top notch. This is one of favorite go-to places for a nice dinner! Thanks Baxter's for helping us have a great evening!
The food and ambience were truly exceptional—thoughtfully crafted dishes in a beautifully designed space. However, the overall experience was dampened by the service.
