No smell; my son commented that the pizza had no smell. Sausage tasted decent- nothing exceptional. If you love sauce, this may be your thing. Not ours.

Hands down the best pizza in central Illinois. It’s clear how fresh and original this place is. It’s not often I find a place where I could get a different item each time and be just as satisfied as before. Always have to try the specialty pizza of the month, usually it’s a hit. Favorite regular menu pizzas are Blackjack Mac and Grillmaster. Flingers has yet to even remotely let me down. Easy 5 stars

The food was outstanding. And our server, Jack, knew how to keep us happy without being intrusive. The atmosphere wasn't anything fancy, but it had charm and was clean and comfortable. We had ordered takeout before so it was nice to see that their staff and their atmosphere are just as spot on.

Great local pizza place with an extensive selection of craft beer from local breweries and other drinks. Be sure to try their monthly fling which is a few special menu items ranging from specialty pizzas to specialty drinks and appetizers that change every month. Their pizza and wings are amazing. This trip out to Flinger's I had this month's fling, The Pioneer, allbeit ordered without onions. It was very good.
Parking: Parking is simple, just a lot next to the building with plenty of spaces. Sometimes hard to find a spot at peak hours but not impossible.

Windy City Fire! I would put this pizza up against an Ala Baldini, Tobins special or a Grady's Sausage and onion pizza. It made me "tilt my head" like a dog would hearing a sound for the first time! But this was taste. I woke up later that night and ate some cold! I think it was even better cold! My favorite pizza Right Now!
We have eaten at Flingers a few times over the years and have had good experiences. The pizza has been great and service is good.They have a really nice selection of beer as well. The place is usually crowded when we go which is a good sign. I would highly recommend if you want good beer and pizza.
