Based on the reviews, Whiskey River Bloomington is a recently opened restaurant with a beautiful dining area and cozy atmosphere. The food is excellent with good portions and nice presentation. Specific meals mentioned include the spinach artichoke dip, mushroom pasta, beef short rib, brisket, short rib melt sandwich, salmon, and Motserella sticks. The calamari and mushroom pasta exceeded expectations, and everything tasted fresh. The servers are great and very informative about selections and specials. One waiter, Greg, made the experience wonderful and personal with great recommendations. The drinks are super tasty. Though there can be a little wait time and some kitchen staff issues, everything comes out just fine. The restaurant is a nice change from all the bar food in town. Reviewers highly recommend the place, giving it a 10 out of 10 and 5 out of 5, and many will return and refer others. People look forward to the patio area being finished.
