We were riding around looking for a place to eat and seen that they had just opened recently. We're pleasantly pleased with this restaurant. Waiter was very informative about selections and specials. We had spinach artichoke dip for appetizer and mushroom pasta and beef short rib for dinner. All were excellent and good portions. A nice change from all the bar food in town. Please patronize this establishment as good dining in the area is hard to find.
Great place for intimate dinner date or fun place for a small to medium size group. Cocktails were solid as well!
Went here for my birthday for the first time and though the wait time was a little long and the ac busted right before opening time it was still a great time, the servers are great, drinks were super tasty, atmosphere was cozy but a tad warm this night, had some kitchen staff issues but everything ended up coming out just fine, brisket was tasty short rib melt sandwhich was delicious, mushroom pasta was delicious and the salmon very tasty. Based on the reviews, Whiskey River Bloomington is a recently opened restaurant with a beautiful dining area and cozy atmosphere. The food is excellent with good portions and nice presentation. Specific meals mentioned include the spinach artichoke dip, mushroom pasta, beef short rib, brisket, short rib melt sandwich, salmon, and Motserella sticks. The calamari and mushroom pasta exceeded expectations, and everything tasted fresh. The servers are great and very informative about selections and specials. One waiter, Greg, made the experience wonderful and personal with great recommendations. The drinks are super tasty. Though there can be a little wait time and some kitchen staff issues, everything comes out just fine. The restaurant is a nice change from all the bar food in town. Reviewers highly recommend the place, giving it a 10 out of 10 and 5 out of 5, and many will return and refer others. People look forward to the patio area being finished.
