Just had a terrific luncheon at Friday's in Bloomington, IL (12/29, 2-3pm), restaurant is attached to a Doubletree Hotel. We both had salmon -- one entree was the simple grilled, and I had the dragon glazed. Both fresh, tender and so flavorful! I can't remember our server's name, but our check said employee #445. Went for lunch time. Not very busy. Food came very fast. The staff was very friendly. As we were having a meeting, the staff didn't interrupt us very much, she filled our drinks when empty. Overall, nice visit.

We used to enjoy TGI Fridays a lot. It was a little pricey, but worth it. Lately though it seems the chain has gone in a different direction. The food seems to be a lower quality, but still the same expensive price. It isn't bad, but it isn't the "excellent" place I used to like. I don't think it's this specific restaurant, but the chain as a whole that's changed for the worse.
