“The flat pizza at Home Run Inn is so much better. We decided to try the deep dish pizza because it was new here. The sauce is just chunky tomato sauce that tastes like it came straight out of a can. Too harsh and acidic. If you could eat tomato sauce from a can, go for it; otherwise, get the flat pizza. The service was good and the staff were friendly.”

Their display case always features their freshly made rolls and cakes. I did not try their Halo-Halo (almost $8!) but I'm sure it is delicious too. “What a great pie. I ordered a thin crust sausage pizza to go. The flavor and ingredients were top notch. Loved the sausage and sauce. Loaded with cheese and a perfect crispy crust. Unfortunately I had to wait an additional 15 minutes beyond their emailed time to arrive. Or they would have received the 5th star. “Ok. Where to start? I went last night and ordered a carnitas torta, an asada taco, and and a quesadilla.

The food is so delicious. The tortilla for the raja y hongo quesadilla was hand made, with the meltiest of cheese and so very tasty. The taco was delightful and chubby lbvs. The bread to the torta was so fresh and sturdy but soft. The carnitas? Absolutely soft and tasty and fresh! The salsa is top notch, flavorful with just enough heat to enjoy it.

The pickled veggies (escabeche)! So freaking good! I used to love to go to places like Comales for that, but there is this certain depth and flavor that just is just delightful here at Taquería Coral.

And the service! Friendly, patient, warm, attentive... I had a great time and enjoyed the food immensely. Will absolutely be back.”
