Portillo's Hot Dogs Reviews
your no cash policy is a joke. sitting in drive thru for half an hr to be told you cant get food is ridiculous. then sit in line again for another 20 to just leave because you cant eat. DO NOT DINE AT THIS ESTABLISHMENT
The Bolingbrook Chocolate Cake was the worst. There was hardly any frosting and it was very small. It definitely was not worth the money. Pretty disappointing!!! This is a Portillos I plan on not going to again.👎

Portillo's Bolingbrook is a popular restaurant that often receives mixed reviews. While the food is generally praised as great, the cleanliness and management of the restaurant can be hit or miss. The Italian beef, chopped salad, and other menu items are recommended, but the overall experience may vary. Recently, customers have noted a lively and welcoming atmosphere, making it a good spot for a casual meal. The servers are often efficient, providing quick service and helpful explanations of the menu items. Guests particularly enjoy the famous Italian beef sandwich, which features tender meat and rich flavors, along with crispy fries. Many have also praised the decadent chocolate cake shake. However, some customers have noticed that the staff behind the counter no longer greet customers warmly, often staring silently, and the food is sometimes handed over without a smile or thank you. Additionally, the cleanliness has been an issue, with many tables found dirty and needing to be cleaned by guests. Despite these concerns, recent visitors caught up with friends and enjoyed dishes like the Chicago style hot dog, grilled chicken sandwich, fries, soda, and spice cake. This location, the largest and most modern of the Bolingbrook Portillo's, is housed in a building that resembles a beautiful factory. It continues to operate efficiently, almost like it was in the days of Dick, the original owner. The addition of soda fountains is a recent upgrade that many appreciate. Though prices are high, visitors still enjoy their meals thoroughly. Known as a key part of the Chicago dining scene, Portillo's Bolingbrook remains a popular spot with a fun, nostalgic vibe, even as some aspects of the experience continue to evolve.
