About Checkers

Checkers is a popular restaurant known for its welcoming atmosphere and friendly service. The staff is always eager to help, and the place is well-maintained and clean. The garlic parmesan fries are a fan favorite, and the food is amazing. While shakes may not always be available, the menu offers a variety of options. The Bolingbrook store, in particular, has made a comeback, with quick service and good quality food.

Customers have praised the restaurant's nostalgic appeal, with one reviewer describing their experience as a trip back to their childhood when their parents used to take them to Checkers. The prices are considered reasonable, especially when compared to other fast-food establishments. The burgers, particularly the Big Buford and Baconzilla, have been praised for their taste and quality, with thick patties and seasoned fries.

However, the restaurant's accessibility has been a concern for some, with one reviewer noting the difficulty in finding parking. Additionally, the lack of vegetarian options has been mentioned as a potential downside.
