Steak 'n Shake Reviews
I am writing to share my recent experience at the Steak ’n Shake in Bradley. Unfortunately, my visit was extremely disappointing due to the way I was treated by both the staff and the manager on duty.
After placing an order online, I arrived at the restaurant early and politely asked if I could be accommodated. Instead of receiving a simple answer, I was met with rudeness, disrespect, and even threats from employees. One female staff member even remarked, “I’m going...read full review

Steak 'N Shake has revamped its service due to COVID, introducing a new ordering system and a QR code for drinks. While the classic diner vibe has changed, many customers still find the food and service enjoyable. A first-time visitor relished the garlic butter burger, highlighting the friendly staff and well-prepared food. Another customer appreciated the improvements in cleanliness but experienced a mix-up with their fries. The new general manager has been attentive, and some feel that the service is better than before, although there are still areas to improve.
Some diners have noted that the shift from traditional waitstaff to kiosks has altered the experience. The soft drink machine now requires scanning a receipt for refills, which some found limiting. While the food quality is good, a few customers mentioned longer wait times for their meals and issues with their orders being incorrect. However, the medium onion rings received praise for being fresh and delicious, even if they seemed small. Overall, while there are still some challenges, many believe the restaurant is on the right path for future visits.
