“We got the chicken dinners and the chicken Alfredo. Everything was delicious and I am going back again. Even tho they gave us the wrong order when we picked up our food, they let us keep the other food. We were only blocks away and people make mistakes. The OX tail was delish and the mac n cheese was addicting. Highly recommend for something new. If your sick of the same old thing you gotta check this place out!!“

“My first time there. I don't like that tomato sauce on the rice. It's not spicy and the one piece of plantae is that dessert i will not return“

“We were in town for a Blackhawks game and wanted something different. Glad we came here. Best jerk chicken and rice and peas we’ve ever had!“

“Love their food, I’ve been going here for over ten yrs since I was in high school! BEST MAC AND CHEESE AROUND! Consistent results after all these yrs. I moved from the community and now I will take that travel for the best jerk food in the city!“

“I came in last night (03/14/25) before hitting the highway to head home, Food was AMAZING ! The only downside was I purchased the 2 meat + 2 side + an extra side & only received one of my meats. Total was almost $30. Didn’t realize until I was already home 2hrs away eating my meal. I received my jerk chicken, but not my stew meat (I think that’s what it’s called). I was the lady with the baby sitting down. I will say that buddy was back there doing all the work himself and that line kept piling up, so I get it. 😩 I just would've loved to have tasted the other meat & that mean my leftovers (that I’m eating rn) would be bigger 👏🏽🤣 lol“

“Great food! And Great service! I found my new favorite place.“

“The food was delicious. I didn't take any pics unfortunately. I had the meat combo with oxtails and jerk wings with cabbage. Everything tasted so good. I can't wait to go back and try more food items. I am glad someone told me about this place. I got lucky. The prices are a plus.“

“Best Jerk Chicken I've had, the food is beyond amazing and delicious and their customer service is excellent. Someone greets you when you come in to order or pick up your food. Everything from the Jerk chicken , Jerk chicken Alfredo and all the side dishes are delicious. I've been eating here since they opened and will continue to as their food is so yummy !! 🙂 Happy 1 year anniversary Jam-Rock Express ! I wish you great success!“

“Do you put sugar in your cabbage?? If so, you should stop! Ordered oxtails and a double side of cabbage. Oxtails were good, but the cabbage was too mushy, much softer than I prefer and taste sweet! 😞 I’ll try something different next time.“

“Thank you to one of the managers Donnell for assisting my friends and I. This was our first time visiting this location and he realized we were sitting and waiting for a long time. And not getting the proper service. He made sure our food was fresh and correct. I highly recommend him as a manager and restaurant hospitality. So polite and professional.“
