The jollof rice was OUTSTANDING! It reminded me of when my father used to prepare it when I was a kid. Very Authentic! I also ordered the ogusi soup with fish and plantain! Everything was delightful! The customer service was excellent as well making my experience very pleasant. I can’t wait to come back and try some different items.

“Wow!! What a beautiful space overlooking the lake calumet with boats. Outdoor patio for smoking stogies, plenty of TVs to watch football or any live action sports team. The music system was loud and good.. the drinks were good and were open pour.. I very reluctantly came here for a friend’s birthday.. had never been.. I immediately saw Burnham and thought it would be a very small and dated corner lounge.. I’m very glad I came.. I was floored, what a “ beautiful island””

“Was recommended this restaurant from a friend. The maple tree and did not disappoint. Made a reservation online easy. Their menu is awesome, simple and delicious. Crab cake was perfect! Our dinner was fantastic. We had trout and shrimp. They have the best banana pudding over crème brûlée. The coffee for an end cap was out of this world good!”

“Finally made it out to Tea+Poke and I’m legit sad it took me that long to get there. The people are kind, the environment is welcoming, and the food is absolutely delicious. The pineapple passion fruit tea was the icing on the cake. I couldn’t decide what to get because TBH the entire menu looks delicious. Staff recommended the Korean Beef Short Rib bowl and an I added an orange chicken bowl as well. Both were winners. So much so, I’ll definitely be back to eat and drink my way through the menu. “We absolutely love this place. My gf actually brought home a Philly Steak and Cheese and the Italian ice when she had seen the food truck at her work at the Mill. We loved it so much we looked up the business and drove multiple times from Portage to Hammond just to get it again. Soooo good. The best Italian ice I have ever had!”

We had some filled churros to end the night. 10/10 recommend. Limited sitting but great places to get take out and enjoy!”

“OMG!!! This place is the bomb, the inside of the restaurant is gorgeous, the customer service is phenomenal and the food is fantastic. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for some delicious soul food. I love the dressing, baked chicken, sweet potatoes and muffins. The portions are good, I had enough left over to take some home for a late night snack. Our hostess Ms. Lyn has outstanding service she made sure that my glass was full at all times and that I had everything that I needed. Her smile can light up a room, keep doing a great job and we will see you again very soon. If you have not been here RUUUUUUN‼️”

“I went in earlier for a little late breakfast. I definitely was not disappointed. I got a simple breakfast with some extra eggs and fries to go. Only thing that stood out to me was the building itself looked dirty, the windows needed cleaning, the parking lot was covered in trash and just debris from the street flying all around the floors and in the grass. I would probably come back to Denny's at some point, they had some cool new breakfast items that I still want to try.
