I came from Milwaukee to perform at this black owned gem. The owner & her staff were very welcoming. I ordered the chicken and it was great. The vibe as well as the people is y i did not hesitate to come back.
This place is a true vibe, a new gem on the south east side of Chicago! I came for poetry, and the poetry was fire! This seems to be a new arts hub with some awesome food on the side! I walked in to try the food and accidentally came on karaoke night and had a blast. Everyone from the owner down to the cook made me feel right at home. I will definitely be back for more. The fried peanut butter and jelly sandwich was excellent along with the chai tea.
