“I ordered the avocado chicken curry with rice! It was absolutely delicious. Very flavourful. Just perfect. My friend got the avocado mac and cheese. I tasted it and loved that too. The portions are large and we brought some home. We got the avocado cheesecake cup for desert and wow! Yummy yummy yummy. They have a kids menu too! I will be a regular customer in the future. You have to try this place!“

I highly recommend this place if you are looking for some delicious soul food. I love the dressing, baked chicken, sweet potatoes and muffins. “This place is amazing. I got the Mexican omelette and it was everything I hoped it would be. The wait staff is outstanding and treat you how you want to be treated. They were very fast and the Mimosas are a huge draw. It’s worth every penny I don’t miss one cent of it. It’s always a good feeling when you don’t leave a restaurant disappointed with the taste. “Looking for a great dinner experience? Mesler Snoasis did it for me and my birthday guest (12/26). We arrived at the Sophy Hotel Lobby entrance. The luxurious and contemporary decor with a wall to wall fireplace was a beautiful ambiance. We immediately began posing for pictures, while waiting for our reservation time to arrive. Dinner outside in the heated igloo “Snoasis”. From start to finish it was a great experience. Igloo was beautifully decorated, cozy with music from the record player. Our appetizers and dinners was delicious (seafood; beef & chicken). The staff is attentive. Our waiter Michael is very professional and knowledgeable about the menu, guiding us in making a delicious choice. Thanks Mesler, I will be back and I’m sure my guest will also. Everyone enjoy it.“

“I been coming to this area for over five years and I like that captain hooks is open 24 hours. I like the service of the staff and the food is always hot and delicious.

“My husband and I struggled to find a breakfast place worth going to but we love sunrise. He loves the banana foster and I love the Mexican omelet. We've tried a few other things on the menu which were very meh. Overall rating ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“

“Mr. B and staff family are amazing and know the regulars. Food is GREAT quality and quantity worth the price. Through all the increases in life the prices stayed about the same. Joe's, is much needed in the community. Sometimes you have to wait because it's BUSY but, it worth the wait. You can call in and place your order. Remember to drop something in the tip jug, they work HARD from 7a-2p.

Parking: There is free street parking around the restaurant and across the street that doesn't belong to Joe's but people often park there.

Kid-friendliness: Kids are more than welcome and there regularly.

“I went in earlier for a little late breakfast. I definitely was not disappointed. I got a simple breakfast with some extra eggs and fries to go. Only thing that stood out to me was the building itself looked dirty, the windows needed cleaning, the parking lot was covered in trash and just debris from the street flying all around the floors and in the grass. I would probably come back to Denny's at some point, they had some cool new breakfast items that I still want to try.

From the moment we walked in, the owner and staff made us feel like family. My son and I enjoyed a feast that left us absolutely satisfied – the pancakes were fluffy and flavorful, and the soul food was nothing short of amazing. To top it all off, we indulged in some irresistible sweets that made our meal complete. “Tony's Kitchen is the house on the block that everyone goes to hang out and eat comfort food. This hidden gem on the corner serves up some great tasting meals. The menu is typical of greasy spoon without being "greasy". The staff treats you like visiting your grandparents without the attitude or awkwardness. Service and temps are on point. Ordered Heuvos and Jamon and an egg sandwich to go. The sides and toast were toasted perfectly and the eggs overeasy. The prices at Tony's Kitchen are a third of what you would pay at MDW. Warning, the coffee is strong and will put hair on your chest. Tony's Kitchen deserves a well earned five stars.“

“Visiting the area and family wanted us to try their brews as one of their favorites. Tried a flight of 10 beers and favs were Tangerine Trackstar, Toxic Words, Lucifer in a haze, Immoveable King, Nuban overlord and the top one Here comes the reaper. We also had the Pretzel and queso for snacks. They were very good and fast. They also had ice tea which is not always available at breweries. I will say the art work gave me pause and some of the names being a Christian but I don't know the background to comment.“
