“Everything we ordered was tasty. It was just understaffed. It was Good Friday. Therefore, there was a large demand for fried fish. During our wait, we were informed they were down to one fryer. Our parties food was served at different times. We made the most of the situation by sampling each other's food and drinking tasty martinis. The food was amazing. My friends steak was phenomenal! I'll definitely come back. Maybe next holiday they can increase staff so consumers are not waiting for a menu, silverware or a drink of water. We were not greeted after being seated until a random consumer left his table to get an employee to greet us. We sat 20 minutes at least. The gentleman who intervened noticed our situation and helped us out. We were engaged in conversation. However, it was getting a bit annoying not to even get a menu to read while waiting. “My buddy and I go to Brandt's twice a year when we drop off and pick up my boat at Bedford Sales. The folks there are always very friendly and Cindy, the bartender is the best! She's always smiling and ready to cook us up whatever we would like for lunch. She even remembers our beer choices even though it's been a few months since our last visit. The food is great too! The burgers are very good. I just wish they had the chili that they had several years ago when we first started to stop there. It was GREAT!!!! Unfortunately, the chili person no longer works there but everything else is A-1.“
