Aban Kitchen Reviews
My absolute favorite restaurant in the US. Excellent food, atmosphere, and staff. Much love to the Aban Crew!
I have wanted to check out Aban Kitchen for years now, but kept letting things get in the way. But at long last, we went this evening and had a great dinner! We ordered the combo ($55)for the table so we would get a good representation of what the cuisine was about. And it was all delicious! Baba Ganousha as an appetizer was a hit as well, along with the Chi….
So…we’ll be back! Well done!
My wife and I absolutely adore this place and eat there whenever we are in the Carbondale area. The food is sublime authentic and extremely tasty. The menu is very unique for Middle Eastern restaurants and we appreciate everything on it! Whether you are seasoned at eating fine Middle Eastern food or you’ve never even tried at this place will most definitely satisfy! Five stars !!!!!

Aban Kitchen offers delightful and flavorful dishes, known for their exceptionally juicy and well-seasoned meats, such as the chicken, beef, and lamb. The combination platter, shawarma, and hummus have been praised for their freshness and authentic spices. Generous portions make it a great value, and the lamb is often highlighted as the best ever, falling off the bone and seasoned very well. The slow cooked roast lab is considered one of the best, tying with renowned spots in Vancouver. The restaurant also features baklava full of flavor that bursts in the mouth, and the karak tea is perfectly sweet and spicy. The staff is friendly, and the restaurant is very clean and comfortable. It gets busy during dinner time, indicating its popularity with locals. Customers have raved about the lamb kabsah, which was tender with perfectly seasoned rice, and praised the fresh, crunchy falafel and fragrant oven bread. The chai karak is highly recommended, warm and full of spices. The baba ghanoush is well blended with a smoky tahin on top, often enjoyed with upgraded clay oven bread. Overall, the service is excellent, and the delicious food makes it a place worth visiting.
