Da Kao

Amazing food as Da Kao has been become my weekend regiment. I discovered Da Kao after a trip to Vietnam last year and my endless quest for the ultimate Banh Mi. After many disappointing imposter Banh Mi's I found the real deal and I would put Darlene's (the owner) against the ones I had in Vietnam. Her menu is excellent and she is also extremely hospitable. She is only open on weekends as she has a regular gig during the week.....

This is my go-to Vietnamese spot in the Carol Stream area! An authentic Vietnamese restaurant that offers a very delectable and healthy options of Vietnamese delicacies. The service is also superb; consistent since the first time I came here up to now- very welcoming and polite employees are running the place. Good Vietnamese food. Their pho and sandwiches are awesome. Have been here a few times and have never been dissatisfied with the food. It's not in a busy shopping center but give it a try I think you will like. It's only open Friday - Sunday but I won't fault them for that because the food is good.
