“Best tacos in Naperville area. The limited menu allows them to focus on what they do well - a great variety of tacos. I tried 3 of the taco options: steak, chicken tinga and grilled Mahi-Mahi. All outstanding. If you want the meal option (2 sides and a drink), you can opt for pinto beans instead of the usual refried beans; rice; a fountain drink; and the 3 tacos, for under $20. “A Hidden Gem on Plum Grove and Higgins – A Must-Try!

We recently visited this charming restaurant located conveniently on Plum Grove Road and Higgins, with easy access from entrances on both sides of the building (formerly a McDonald’s). It was our first time dining here, and the experience was fantastic from the moment we stepped inside.

The staff greeted us warmly and made us feel right at home. When we mentioned it was our first visit, they went out of their way to explain the menu and highlight the house specialties. We started with chips and salsa, and what a treat! They served four varieties of salsa, each made fresh in-house. The flavors were unique and absolutely delicious—some of the best chips and salsa we've had in a while.

For our main dish, we opted for the fajita combo. The staff kindly asked how we preferred the steak, which we appreciated as it showed their attention to detail. When the sizzling fajitas arrived, they didn’t disappoint. The steak was perfectly cooked, tender, and bursting with flavor. The chicken was equally amazing—juicy, well-seasoned, and just as satisfying.

The tortillas were kept warm in a tortilla warmer, which was a nice touch and exactly how I like them served. The sides of rice and beans complemented the meal perfectly. The rice was light and flavorful, and the creamy refried beans rounded out the plate.

The location is just three miles from our house, which makes it even more appealing for a quick and satisfying meal. We can’t wait to come back and try more items from the menu. If you’re in the area, do yourself a favor and check this place out—you won’t regret it!“

Everything was fantastic from the moment I called to book the event with Susie to confirming with Jesus to the moment when Jorge and his partner left (sorry, I didn't catch her name). There was so much food, everyone kept complimenting how awesome the food was. I was worried about not having enough food but there was so much with lots of leftovers! The staff is so friendly and accommodating. Their equipment was clean. They kept their area where they were cooking and serving organized and clean. When they left, there was no mess. “I love this place so much!!! I stumbled upon it June 2023, and I’m forever grateful for that. 5 Star customer service! 5 Star food AND drink. I really wish more people would support this establishment. It’s hands down the best hispanic dishes in the area. Not even exaggerating. My fav is their chorizo tacos with grilled onions and cilantro and their carne asada. I don’t even eat refried beans, but I LOVE theirs. I travel 45 mins to dine there. It’s worth it. Support! BUT since we were last there, you changed your menu and removed the chicken strips and fries. So, atmosphere was great, service was great, food was very good, blood orange margarita was tasty, but we’ll be back when my picky 10 year old turns 18 because I can afford - occasionally - $13 for her chicken strips but not another $60 for a sitter and I’m not willing to fight with her about her awful dietary choices during a rare night out. However, my only beef with this place is the absolute lack of real mexican music, and by that, I mean mariachi or mexican oldies. The music is always salsa, reggeton, or bachata. “It is a really nice place to get some food, I tried the lunch special picking the pastor, chorizo and carnitas tacos, corn tortilla and to be honest I never spect that tasty in the pastor, it was awesome, great salsas with basics spicy (not for high spicy level lovers) but the flavors are so good (chile de árbol and jalapeño sausage are the best), also the plate come with rice and beans (the beans are served over a crunchy corn tortilla and it marks the difference for presentation in my opinion), also I highly recommend order horchata water. The only thing that I have and I think it is because I went too close the opening hours, is that the floor was recently mopped and with the kind of shoes that I was dressing, it was difficult to walk around but I think I was the only one with that issue because I saw a lot of people walking with no issues.“
