“We have always enjoyed VT but this was poorly managed. We came in on a Wednesday and ask to sit at a booth. The booth they sat us at was right next to a party they had going on. And people were standing right at the edge of the booth and was extremely loud. Why they didn't put the party separated in the empty section by the bar would be more appropriate. It seems they were over the limit on the one side. So we asked to move to a booth that was empty. They said we couldn't move to that booth as it wasn't open. Needless to say we took our business elsewhere.“

Food is great and delicious, they actually look out for you here, and Erika is the best one here. Any time I travel to the far suburbs of Chicagoland, this is the best place to be. “Deleted a 1 star review to replace it with a 5 star. I booked a rental at 11:30am to take some swings at a place with some feed back and that wasn’t outside with this recent heat wave and rain. Got to the location and it was still closed. Frustrated, I left the 1 star review. A few hours later I was contacted by Andres the manager at xgolf downers grove and he explained the mix up and apologized. Nowadays that goes a long way. Mistakes happen and it’s really refreshing when a company takes this approach. I wanted to bowl the following evening and when I showed up Renee recognized me and told me she had a surprise for me. She then went into the back room and came back with my nephew‘s credit card. I imagine it could be difficult to remember exactly who was Bowling on that lane last Yet she remembered and put the credit card on the side as she figured I’d be returning at some point during the week. I really appreciate her honesty and care for her customers!!! If you're into chicken vesuvio you should get it here yum yum yum especially the potatoes. We also enjoy their thin cut pizza because it's still thick enough to hold the toppings but is never burnt on the bottom like other places. The meat is quality too when it comes to the toppings we enjoy the pepperoni and sausage. The only potential negative is the restaurant is always extremely noisy but it's a pizzeria and bar so can't really expect anything different and the food is worth it.“

“Yesterday I stopped at Reserve 22 in Glen Ellyn. I have been here before, and as always, the food was OUTSTANDING! I chose the chefs special for Thursday – FRIED CHICKEN. There aren’t too many places that make GOOD Fried Chicken these days, BUT I WAS PROVEN WRONG! Chef Tom’s Fried Chicken sounded like how my mom used to make it. When the plate arrived, I was greeted with some of the best chicken I have seen in, will… since my mother made it. There; in front of me, on top of a huge portion of REAL mashed potatoes were four pieces of golden-brown chicken (thigh, breast, wing, and leg) with gravy on the side and large portion of coleslaw. The first bite of Chef Tom’s chicken brought back a flood of childhood memories. If I didn’t know I was in a restaurant, I would have sworn I was sitting at my mom’s kitchen table on a Sunday afternoon. THIS WAS MY MOTHERS’ CHICKEN! Beautifully golden brown, that first crunch as you bit into the piping hot moist chicken. No lie, I had to just savor the moment. My search for the 2nd best chicken in the world (sorry, no one can beat moms’) was over. The potatoes, slaw and gravy were the Crème de la Crème of this meal! This whole meal reminded me of my childhood, Sundays after church and moms’ cooking. This is the BEST HOME COOKED MEAL YOU WILL FIND ANYWHERE! I did have to take a doggie bag home. But trust me, I enjoyed the rest of the chicken that night. I have had the opportunity to enjoy Chef Tom’s meals a few times. I have NEVER been disappointed – EVER! Of course, the service is outstanding, and the atmosphere is inviting and relaxing at Reserve 22. If you haven’t had the chance or opportunity to dine at Reserve 22 MAKE IT A MUST! You will put it on your list of places to return to – OFTEN. The Easter menu looked unbelievable too. If you are looking for a place to have Easter dinner, I HIGHLY recommend Reserve 22.
