50 Best Italian Restaurants near Carpentersville

“Love Lou's. Ordered the pizzas, and went to pick them up. One took a little longer, and the employee gave us a 4 pack of cookies, for having to wait. Pizza was AWESOME! Love The Lou, deep dish with sausage. They also have a gluten free for those needing it!“

“Rosati’s Pizza never disappoints. The slices are always fresh, hot, and full of flavor. The crust has the perfect crisp, and the sauce has just the right amount of tang. The people here are genuinely friendly and make you feel welcome every time you walk in. Service is quick. Definitely one of my go-to spots when I’m craving a good slice. Highly recommend!“

“Wonderful service and food! Eric, the manager, is excellent checking in with diners and ensuring they have everything they need.“

“We had our rehearsal dinner here Oct 17. It was amazing. The food was allergy friendly. The drinks were great. Prices were reasonable. This is now in my top 3 favorite restaurants. Can’t wait to come back. Also the creme brulee was amazing. 🤤“

“Last night's dinner was truly wonderful. The amazing food and exceptional staff made our anniversary celebration unforgettable. Special thanks to Armando, Pete, and Brennan for their outstanding service. We will definitely be back.“

“My husband and I owned a mobile Hot Dog Stand I ran it in Northwest Indiana. I sold Bari Beef Sandwiches. I was famous for my Beef sandwiches . I have and will always swear by Bari Beef!!!! We have moved all over the country the last 9 years and just moved to Bartlett Illinois. I just found out I live only 9.8 miles from Bari factory store …… I think I have died and gone to Heaven!!! On a side note. I had a deal for all new customers who questioned whether I had the best beef sandwiches. I told them “You buy my Beef sandwich and if you do t think it’s the best you have ever had I will give you your money back!” I have NEVER had to give anyone their money back!!! You are the best!!!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️“

“We typically use the drive thru. We like your food, always fresh and tasty. Tonight I had the chicken avocado and strawberry salad. The salad was fresh, walnuts were sweet and crispy, dressing was very creamy. The only criticism I have is my chicken avocado and strawberry salad had no avocados. I do understand sometimes you can run out of ingredients or supply chain issues can interfere with menus. I would just ask to have this made known to us upon ordering or upon discovery, all in the interest of good customer service that you usually do deliver.“

“My girls and I just had a quick dinner here before ballet class and it was awesome! Can’t believe we waited so long to visit, we’ll be back soon! Food and service were 👍🏻👍🏻 all the way!“

“hot oven grinders with extra hot peppers tomatoes &pickles one to eat there one to take home“

“Our family’s favorite pizza in Barrington. Always great food!“

“The food is delicious every time.“

“😊 I had a really pleasant dining experience, and the service made the biggest difference. Ben was an outstanding server—friendly, attentive, and incredibly quick with drink refills, breadsticks, and anything else we needed. 👏 He checked on us regularly without being intrusive, which made the meal even more enjoyable. The food was good and met my expectations, but the excellent customer service truly stood out. 🍽 Ben's positive attitude and professionalism made the visit memorable, and I'd be happy to return for another meal. ⭐👍“

“My thin crust pizza was always my favorite from there until I just had a deep dish Chicago style you better hang onto the box with two hands. I always went to uncle Jerry’s for the thicker pizza until now. Gallo’s kicked it out of the park and they even cut your pizza for you.“

“We went to Woodfire for my birthday. The food and service is excellent. Vicki was our server and she was very friendly and attentive. The food is so fresh and homemade. The pizza crust is crisp on the outside and chewy on the inside. There is an assortment of types of pizza, but the cheese pizza is the best I’ve ever had. The pasta is rich and delicious. It’s cooked perfectly and the vodka sauce is amazing. The appetizers, home brewed beer, and desserts are phenomenal too. Step aside Coopers Hawk, I have a new favorite restaurant!“

“delicious sandwiches and I wouldn't consider anybody else for my catering needs.“

“Great pizza right here, used to love Little Caesar’s now I changed to Pizza Now because the pizza is way better“

“i recently had a disappointing experience at a restaurant that I felt compelled to share. I went there for dinner with my fiancée, mother, and our two young kids, ages 3 and 1. Initially, the dinner was fantastic; we were enjoying our time together and the food was great. However, after about an hour and 20 minutes, we were abruptly told we had to leave because of other reservations. This was incredibly frustrating, especially since I still had my drink left, and we had just paid our tab As we were leaving, we encountered a manager and inquired about the situation. To our shock, she responded by asking if we knew how to read English, which felt incredibly rude and unprofessional. I pulled up my reservation online and nowhere does it say there was a time limit. To make matters worse, as we walked through the bar to exit, she followed my mother and physically shoved her three times. This kind of behavior is completely unacceptable in any establishment, and it left a sour taste in what could have been a lovely evening. We called the cops to make a report as the manager "lucy" (she told me this was her name) should never be able to touch a customer. Especially since we were not refusing to leave AND my kids were there to witness it all. In the car my son kept asking why the lady pushed my mom . This shouldn't be something I need to answer as it never should have happened. She tried telling the cops she did not have the "intent" to hurt but to get us out . Yet we were not even refusing to leave...only letting her know it was rude as we still had stuff that was unfinished that we paid for. I understand that restaurants have to manage reservations, but there are respectful ways to handle these situations. Additionally, she left it up to the waiter to tell us we had to leave . I won't be returning, and I hope this feedback helps others make an informed decision. And please , if you were in the bar / restaurant when this all happened , speak up on how wrong it was of her to push someone like that.“

“Great Mom n Pop pizzeria; quality is everything and some. You may have your doubts trying something new, But I encourage you get a slice and oh yes my favorite Italian Short Bread cookies; the kind Grandma would have out on Thanksgiving or Christmas heck even Easter. One incredible thing; this place isn’t one of gritty nitty chains that sell pizza, it’s again a Mom n Pop small business and that’s the way it should always be“

“Celebrated with family and couldn't believe the SPECTACULAR birthday treat! While most restaurants are cutting back, this Rosati's in Hoffman Estates TREATED us with a huge dessert! Enough for all to enjoy! And their daily specials are the best. Our server Kaitlyn was so thoughtful and made us feel so welcome. Don't miss out on this hidden gem of a restaurant!“

“Amazing Pizza! Everything about it! The right amount of delicious sauce! Toppings & cheese & cooked perfectly!“

“good food. better if you sit down“

“If you like a super thin crust that is crispy to the middle, this is your pizza! Mozzarella sticks were handmade and fantastic! The cookie skillet was an incredible end to this meal. We also sampled the rigatoni and pasta scampi. We will be back!“

“We found you guys years ago: your our favorite spot: Just tried your cauliflower pizza Omg it was fantastic!!!!!“

“I dined here tonight, having been here with family before, and I've always loved the food, atmosphere and service. I started with the bruschetta, which was great but if the kitchen could ease off the mound of diced tomatoes it would've been even more enjoyable. Less is more.

Moving forward I ordered the custom pasta dish. A half Alfredo half red sauce, I can't think of the name, with the spaghetti noodles and meatballs. The dish itself was piping hot, too hot to really taste the flavors I was looking for, which that's okay, I waited for it to cool off and went in. It was good! The only curiosity I had were the meatballs. They were tasteless and dissolved each bite I took. I'd like to know if they're frozen? Boiled? Maybe they just weren't prepared correctly? Either way, ill stick to sausage next visit.

Other than that, my server Tyler killed it. Great job dude. Thanks for taking care of me tonight.

I spent roughly $47. But I always tip well so I spent over $60 tonight (includes the tip I left) well deserved.“

“During the 7 Friday’s of Lent we went to 5 different fish fry’s, and without a doubt Moretti’s was the best. Not only was the price the best, the amount of fish was the most without AYCE. Great French Fries, homemade coleslaw and plenty of tartar sauce. Another plus was Happy Hour Coors Light drafts for $3. I’d like to thank our server ( Will M. )for doing a great job.“

“We love going for the entertainment, including Adam behind the bar lol“

“Anna is a fabulous server, helpful and attentive.“

“Best Pizza Ever! Friendly, helpful service as well.“

“Miss this place it’s been years. And it didn’t disappoint. We got the western.“

“the foid was good the bartenders friendly, on the spot and gave service with a smile! band was great! dance floor tight tho.“

“This is our go-to place for gluten-free pizza. As opposed to another popular nearby pizza place, the crust is actually fully baked. The GF crust is decent. Not as good as real crust, but better than others in the area. As with any GF pizza, I’d recommend eating it all the first night, as it’s never as good reheated.“

“So many choices and the food is always great.“

“Heaven on pizza! Yummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmy“

“NPT is the best pizza in the suburbs of Chicago! It is Neopolitan style pizza and they have pasta dishes as well. Their appetizers are excellent, their Tiramisu is top notch, and they have a good selection of wines and Italian sodas. Get over to NPT for authentic Neopolitan pizzas!“

“Held an event for nearly 300 there and couldn't be happier. Staff was great to work with and food was great. Every comment received from those attending the event was positive! Looking to hosting our event there again in 2025“

“They are great for cater orders. Food is good, packages are excellent for our parties. This was my second time ordering for a party snd everyone commented positive on the food and wanted to know where we got it.
Thank you for making or 4th extra special.“

“DELISH!!!! The Chicago Classic is a MUST HAVE! And the service is great :-)“

“Disappointing. Have given this place a few tries, but last night was the last. Ordered a sausage pizza and there literally was 1 piece of sausage per slice on majority of the slices of pizza. Some slices actually had no sausage. Plus it was dry. Lifted up the cheese and there was barely any sauce. And, end pieces had no cheese. Took a pick when it was mostly gone....we were hungry so ate in anyways. We were very disappointed. A bad night maybe ? They weren't busy at all, no one inside. Really wanted to love this place, but....“

“Pizza is very very awesome! Dinners are always on point as well! Reliable, consistent and tonight, probably the best we’ve ever had, so I felt like I had to say something positive for ya. Thanks so much for all y’all do, we feel lucky to have this establishment near us to order from. We look forward to our next order!!!“

“Great pizza, wish they had zeppole on the dessert menu, it’s the only Rosati’s location I can’t find them at which results me in ordering from the next restaurant. I attached what zeppole look from the other locations, they don’t even have the appetizer version with the marinara. Crazy because they’re big sellers at other locations and they run out.“
