I normally am not one to leave reviews about restaurants. However, our experience at this restaurant was so awful. The worst we have ever received. I felt that people who are considering eating here and wanting a quality dining experience with great food service should know there is a good possibility you will not receive it. We had a party of 16 that we made reservations for two weeks ago. It took an hour after the server took our drink order to even get a mango cart beer, my husband also ordered a coffee that he did not get for 1 and 35 minutes. It took another 20 minutes after that to get our food. Over 50% of them were not what we ordered. They were either missing or didn’t come at all. They were served on platters of four people at a time. Not a single person in our party got a warm meal. Not a single time did a server come back to check on us until 30 to 40 minutes passed. When we would tell them things that had been forgotten or that were incorrect. We would have to tell them several times before they got it correct. My husband’s meal was brought to him in a plastic to go container, then taken back and brought back to him in a regular dish. His exact words were you could’ve put an ice cube in it and it would not have melted. He has one to never complain about the service and or food When we have bad service, but this is truly the worst service we have ever received. When speaking to the young boy who took over for the servers about our experience, he was so completely apologetic and helpful. Once the manager and or owner came out to speak with our family, they told us that it was our fault and that it was the fault of the other large party that they had at the same time. They said it was our fault because we showed up 10 minutes early and it was, the other families fault for showing up late. They said their kitchen is small and they are not made to accommodate this many people. And if that is the case, I feel that they should’ve never double booked their establishment. They definitely should not have blamed the customer! This was our first and last time visiting this establishment.

We had a 1pm reservation. We were even early. No one in the restaurant. We waited an hour and 45 for food. Then it showed up cold. Part of our party had to leave and didn’t even get to eat. The cold food was served in “shifts” I guess…..some of us were done eating before others even got their food. It was a party of 16….not a giant party. Water was left empty. Shrimp and grits even served cold…gross….when we asked the manager they were clueless and never even offered an apology. Horrible experience and 1 star is too many…do not recommend.

Dining at Walkers Bluff Tasting Room was a pleasure. The steak was cooked exactly to my liking and the side of potatoes was satisfying. My daughter's chicken Alfredo pizza was a hit. The quality of the meal warrants high praise. Additionally, the cave tour was fascinating.

Thank you so much to Walker's Bluff for making my dreams come true! Jonathan D Reiman Aifd-Icpf, Saylor and the whole WB staff did an UNBELIEVABLE job in the wine cave, and in making the 4-tiered cake of our dreams, of making OUTSTANDING food, and of accommodating all 140 of us with beautiful place settings that matched our color scheme, and oh my gosh. Best day of my LIFE!

10 of us went there for dinner. Got there around 6:30pm ordered our foods. Our serve told us is going to be delayed for one hour which we were fine with that but 3 hours later we she have not get our foods. (They close at 10 pm) 20 minutes before 10:00 pm still no foods and I told him if they have not cook our foods, can we just cancel it? He told us is cooking and even after 10:20 pm still no foods! and we finally just paid our drinks and left! Never again!

We went to Walker Bluff Winery to watch the total solar eclipse. This was our first time staying at a Harvest Host, and our experience was outstanding. Every staff member we met was friendly and helpful. We ate three meals in the Tasting Room, and my wife and I highly recommend the Chicken Caprese Sandwich (so much that I will experiment with recipes at home). I talked to the manager, and he approved us staying two nights. There is plenty of room for RVs and plenty of places to explore. Check out the Wine Cave; it leads to the Tasting Room, furnished with unique items.

I was so excited about doing the Mother's Day Buffet today, but I was highly disappointed. We had reservations. They ran out of fried chicken and steak as soon as we got there, it took over 30 minutes before they brought more out. I ate the chicken strips from the kid's buffet. The sides were just "ok" and the salad was minimal at best. This would have been fine if we hadn't thought we were getting a special meal for Mother's Day. We paid $38 each, plus drinks (iced tea and Diet Coke), and a tip. Definitely not worth the money. I don't recommend this place. We won't be going back.
