Ruthie’s was genuinely an incredible experience. The lobster bisque; I will be dreaming of for the rest of my life. I almost wonder if I could order it in bulk, it was so amazing!
The broccolini family style was covered in thick pieces of very flavorful quality bacon. Smokey, salty, fresh. My garden salad was extremely fresh, clean, and served beautifully. Have lived within 30 minutes of this since it opened and hadn’t gave it a chance but I will say the Delmonico Ribeye absolutely goes in the top 5 I’ve ever had. I’ve travelled a lot to most cities and experienced the best and this one gives them a run for their money. 2 days later and I’m still thinking about it . Ruthie's is a great experience all around. The space is beautifully decorated, service was good, and food was delicious. I had the filet medallions and shrimp.

Ruthie's Steak & Seafood offers an incredible dining experience. The space is beautifully decorated and the atmosphere is elegant. Guests describe the lobster bisque as amazing and the broccolini family style covered in thick pieces of flavorful bacon. The garden salad is extremely fresh, clean and served beautifully. The Delmonico Ribeye receives high praise, noted for perfect marbling, flavor that is not bland and not over the top, and a portion that many call the best ribeye steak ever. Other popular entrees include filet medallions, shrimp, sea bass and prime rib. Appetizers such as steak lollipops and pheasant civet are described as very tasty. Sides are huge and great, and tiramisu is enjoyed as a birthday cake option. Service is kind, knowledgeable, friendly and professional. The server is attentive, answers questions about drink pricing, brings food and drinks in a timely manner, refills and clears plates immediately. Prices are reasonably priced for high end, with cocktails and entrees totaling about one hundred and some change. The restaurant is considered a spot to visit often for special occasions and fine dining in Carbondale. Guests note that it is better to overdress than underdress. The overall dining experience was a 12/10. The manager is great and the waiter is elegant. The broccolini is smoky, salty, fresh. The garden salad maybe chopped more.
