The owner is a true delight. I’ve found my new favorite restaurant. “We love the food! The service was awesome! The redesigned restaurant has a whole new atmosphere! There's a stocked bar, ambient lighting, and music. Our server was energetic, enthusiastic, and very attentive while not overly present. This is our favorite restaurant in Granite City! When you're in town, you will regret not stopping in here for a quick and delicious lunch or dinner and drinks!

“The last time I went to Zapata's was nearly 20 years ago back when they were located in Swansea. That last visit was unpleasant (food issues that are irrevelant now) so I vowed to never return.
I finally got brave and tried again a few weeks ago when my guests and I were looking to get a quick bite. What a treat! The service was great, the Margarita so delicious and very tasty shrimp tacos. The chips were fresh and hot, the salsa very good, and queso so delicious that I want to go back just for that. I won't wait years to go back again.“

The place is fairly small, but service is good and the food is excellent.
They have several good vegetarian options on their menu, but not as many as some other similar restaurants nearby.
Prices are a little higher than some other similar places in the area.

“We ordered outside their delivery venue. The gentleman called and was so kind and apologized for the error. We went to go and get our order and they had a huge slice of cheesecake waiting for us along with the tip in cash we had put on our order. “I visited this location today and should have known when the sign said to be patient as short staff . There were only 2 employees working today . They did fabulous and very patient . Upper management should recognize these 2 employees but it would be nice to see more mangers etc helping them out“

Had a great experience at Taco Bell! The food was delicious, and the service was absolutely amazing. A special shoutout to “Rebecca”, who attended us. She was incredibly sweet, friendly, and helpful. Since we’re vegetarians, she went out of her way to check if we needed any help with the order and made sure we had no trouble choosing the right items.

Before tonight, I hadn’t been to a Taco Bell, this late and my order be correct to a Tee even down to the sauces and which exact sauces I wanted! On top of that my order BEING DELIVERED…. They gave 100%z
I’m leaving this review because I feel we are all quick to complain.
I am visiting so I don’t have a car and I ordered on door dash …which now it is my second time doing that.
Anyways,
This place did great! I wasn’t missing a single thing in my order, my tacos and my Mexican pizza was made with the amount of each ingredient you would see in one of Taco Bell’s commercials.
The SAUCES WERE ALL THERE AND EACH FLAVOR I CHOSE (:
I know I requested a couple different flavors and the fact every one of them was in there!!! 🥰
The CREW at this location did AMAZING! Great job.
