We carryout from Black Dog at least once a week. Everything is exceptional for flavor, tenderness and service. Couldn't possibly think of anything less than perfect to say about this restaurant!!!
Stopped by for the first time time today. Will not return. The employees were really pleasant and nice but the portion sizes for the amount paid is really expensive. We (2 people) ordered the 3 meat platter (came with 2 small pieces of brisket, one piece of chicken, and a fil-a of grilled catfish), 2 sides (corn bread & fries) and a side of salad. No drinks. Bill was $50+and we left hungry. Definitely not going back.
My husband and I were visiting our son and we brought our dog from home to Champaing. I am.glad we found this restaurant. Very good food and they are very friendly with the dogs. Good price and excelent service.
