Went for lunch today and the food was amazing! Got the rib tip dinner which came with fries, baked beans, coleslaw and toast, and also got the collard greens. All of the food was delicious and I will definitely be coming back! My friend got the banana pudding but we will be back for the cheesecake!!
I've been here a few times. The owner is friendly, the food is FANTASTIC. In my opinion it's best BBQ restaurant in town. They know their stuff. I can't wait to come back and try the tips. Try the mix sauce!
Thanks for Restaurant Week we tried Sooie’s and being a BBQ judge in the Kansas City Society I would give you a BEST out of a good,better and best tasting.

Sooie Bros. Bar-B-Que Joint offers excellent smoked BBQ with wonderful sauce on their ribs, which are huge and reasonably priced. The restaurant also excels in sides, particularly the beans, mac and cheese, and coleslaw. The rib tips are especially flavorful and tender, with a great seasoning on the fries that customers love. The pulled pork sandwich is generous and tastes great, and the fries are uniquely delicious. For dessert, the banana bread pudding and cheesecake are highly recommended, with many customers planning to return to try other items like the banana pudding. The seating area is very clean, and the staff is friendly. Service is great, and the food quality remains consistently high, making it a worthwhile dining experience.
