Our dinner was fantastic. We had trout and shrimp. They have the best banana pudding over crème brûlée. The coffee for an end cap was out of this world good!“

“I visited the establishment out of curiosity. The enticing aromas of freshly baked goods permeated the air. An assortment of doughnuts, scones, cookies, danishes, and loaves of bread were on display. I made a purchase of two tarts, namely the Twix and the Briscoff. The Twix tart bore a striking resemblance to the popular candy bar, yet it surpassed it in terms of taste and quality. It consisted of a shortbread crust filled with a delectable caramel custard, topped with chocolate and a piece of a Twix bar. The experience was truly divine. I have reserved the Briscoff tart for a later occasion. The establishment offers a diverse selection of other delectable items, including cakes. I intend to revisit the establishment in the future to indulge in a sweet treat.“

However, this new location is closer to my house and I would be a frequent customer if they would ever answer the phone. I called both numbers on this page. One is out of service the other never gets answered. I want to see this restaurant succeed. It is Black owned and I want to support it. Please update your number on Facebook to the correct number that will get answered. Until I am able to call to place an order, I will place my order at Daisy's Cafe 2 in Hazel Crest. It's a longer drive, but They always answer their phone.“

“Their ice cream is literally the best i’ve ever had! My only complaint is that this location never allows for us to come inside. I’ve seen several people either leave or take their business next door because of it. Not many people see their sign but if they had their door propped open with music playing it’ll definitely attract more customers and allow for us to engage with the workers. It’s a very nice area!“

“Excited to try the empanadas at Empanadus in Homewood on Ridge Road. It is a nice cafe and eatery offering a variety of empanadas for all dietary needs. They are served very warm and the type of empanada is branded into the outside crust. They are a good sized portion and the filling can be tasted with each bite. I bought a variety and it was easy to identify which one was beef, sausage, spinach, vegan, etc. they also offer a variety of coffees too. Would definitely suggest you give it a visit.“

“Visiting the area and family wanted us to try their brews as one of their favorites. Tried a flight of 10 beers and favs were Tangerine Trackstar, Toxic Words, Lucifer in a haze, Immoveable King, Nuban overlord and the top one Here comes the reaper. We also had the Pretzel and queso for snacks. They were very good and fast. They also had ice tea which is not always available at breweries. I will say the art work gave me pause and some of the names being a Christian but I don't know the background to comment.“

“Went to lunch today with my son, ordered the special Lake Perch w/mac and cheese. When it came I took 2 bites of the perch and found it to be mushy and not cooked enough. Called the waitress and gave it back to her, she showed the boss and he said "I just had some and it was ok" when the bill came they made me pay for it,I told the boss I didnt eat it and sent it back but he just said I should have let them cook it longer. This is a terrible way to run a business , I will never go back there and hope anyone who reads this will stay away , hope I dont get sick from this.“

Today I found out they reopened in Munster, and was able to take a stroll down memory lane. Such a fantastic, caring local business, and I will definitely be returning!“

“This is the only gas station and car wash I go to in the south suburbs. For this to be an automatic car wash is really gets your car clean. Plus, if you have the car wash membership, you get the gas discount. You can also get the inside of your car cleaned along with an oil change. This gas station does have a restaurant and video gaming inside as well.“

“Upon entering the establishment, we were seated within three seconds before our butt hit the seats we were served with a fresh jar of water and coffee and our order was placed within three minutes, after a 7 to 10 minute wait our food arrived. It was average looking, but the taste made up for the presentation of the food. The service was great. I’ll waitress was nice polite and punctual. I do recommend this place to anyone who is looking for fast clean service with a smile.“

“Wow, this place just brought back some fond memories. I was a teenager, just learning to drive and have a little independence. My siblings, cousins and maybe a friend or 2 would go bowling with us and when we finished bowling we would grab a bite to eat afterwards. It was the only place at that time and those tacos hit the spot then and they hit the spot now. Definitely want to try the jerk and the turkey tacos next.“

“First, I'd like to compliment the customer service. The staff there are helpful, patient, and considerate. Some of the best service I've seen in a long time. The place was packed. The food: Asian sesame chicken salad with a vinaigrette dressing. It comes with a choice of apple, chips, or baguette. Light, refreshing, and flavorful. The wontons added a great crunch and texture to the salad. 10's across the board for me.“

“Do NOT EVER COME TO THIS ESTABLISHMENT. My family and I came here after I purchased a Groupon voucher for a two person all you can eat. Total was 50.14 which was no problem. The problem came in when the owner, Keith Lewis, told my husband and I that we cannot use the voucher on the same day that we purchased it. It seemed very off because I've never heard or read anything like that before. Since we were there we decided to stay and pay their price of 63.76 for two adults. We looked up the voucher again and seen there was no such policy. When asking the owner for a refund and telling him and one of his employees, Tay, about the policy not being there, he states that it was "supposed to be in there" and I would have to get a refund from Groupon. My husband and I explained to the owner that it cannot be our fault for something that the merchant aka the owner of Dusties should be monitoring and is responsible for, to which he had no reply. The employee Tay, sides with the owner (of course) and tells us we ate there, trying to imply because we ate that we cannot get our money back, WRONG. So, basically he lied about being able to use the voucher and double charged us. We did not leave and demanded money back, in which they decided to call the police. When the police arrived my husband and I told him what happened and my husband and the officer stepped away to talk. During their conversation, the owner THEN decides to refund me my money back. This was a straight up scam and it was done to many people before because the owner stated that he tells that to everyone as far as them not being able to use the Groupon voucher the same day it was purchased, which is a LIE because he ended up wanted me to pull up the voucher so that it can be redeemed after he refunded me my money. This place only had good greens, mac n cheese, banana pudding and smothered chicken. The fried chicken was hard as if they put out leftovers and the cornbread. Do not waste your time or money here its not worth it.“
