I visited this coffee shop when I was visiting Chicago and I fell in love with the shaken espresso with cold foam on top! It was delicious. I recommend this place for your morning coffee!

I enjoyed their café de olla this morning. Perfect balance between the cinnamon and the coffee.

Don't count on good customer service. Bought $30 worth of drinks and bread. The bread was okay but save a trip by going to the paneria few stores down. Their double expresso was more like a single but don't try to argue they won't budge. Especially when they make your cafe de olla with half and half?! It smelled and taste funny and failed to accommodate in customer service. Probably won't try this place since the authentic taste lacks and the service is below par.

I love this little coffee shop! It’s been my go-to lately in this area, especially since Spoke & Bird has been closed (temporarily?) for a while now. I usually just pop in to grab a black coffee, it’s tasty (not watery nor burned) and I feel like the prices are very decent for a nice cafe. I haven’t really tried much of the food, but took a bite of my boyfriend’s muffin the other day and it was delish. It’s a clean, cool atmosphere and the staff is always super nice. Love that they have a couple of outdoor tables as well. Keep doin what you’re doing!

Vegetarian options: I know there are a number of baked goods that are veggie-friendly, I think even a vegan option or two. I haven’t ordered from the full food menu, but I’m pretty sure there are at least a couple of things without meat.

You cashier's look like they just got up off bed. Don't know the meaning of smoke and greet a customer and to top it off there should be a sign that says no cash CARD ONLY. Went for my 1st time I was excited and got bummed out with the whole card situation. As a employee it's your job to ensure before ordering and taking some ones order you advise card only right off the back. Im sure the coffee is good too bad my rating wasn't for the coffee but for the employees and staff.

Lots of specialty sugary coffees offered. When I ordered a simple iced Americano, it was extra watery and disappointing as it tasted like water & cream, instead of espresso. $7 down the drain and going forward, I’ll get my coffee down the street.

Great breakfast sandwiches, great coffee, and a nice [small] work space if you want to work remotely inside.

This is the third time I have come here for a breakfast sandwich and the third time I have requested no cheese. Each time my sandwich has been served to me with cheese. This time in particular, not only did I say it, but the male cashier confirmed, and then I re-confirmed.

When I went back into the shop to let them know I had requested no cheese, I handed it to the shorter woman in a light colored tank took the sandwich from me. As I turned to wait outside, I overheard one of the two women working say "She didn't say 'no cheese'". I turned back around because I couldn't believe what I heard and the male cashier who originally took my order just made eye contact and turned around without a word or apology.

The exact same sandwich was then given to me with just the cheese scraped off. If that was a comfortable step, I would have just done it myself. I hope people who have severe dairy sensitivities or allergies are wary of this shop. I hope gloves were used in the scraping of the cheese.

Not only was it incredibly disappointing to have my order given to me wrong on multiple occasions, but a clear lack of customer service and common courtesy was frustrating and hurtful. I highly recommend visiting other coffee shops in the neighborhood that foster a much more friendly and customer-oriented environment.
