I got to meet Anna at her lovely shop space on Halsted this past weekend after having a matcha white chocolate cupcake from A Sweets Girl at a JD event downtown a while back.

The shop has a fun ambiance, and is clean with lots of natural light. Her baked goods are moist, flavorful, and the right amount of sweet! Anna is real deal and doesn't compromise on her standards or vision, which I appreciate in small business owners.

I got an iced matcha latte with oat milk, and it was smooth and had the option of being unsweetened how I liked, and a blueberry muffin. Also got cookies, scones, and muffins for artists at an event and everyone enjoyed the pastries. I look forward to getting treats from here when on my way to Beverly in the future and recommend stopping by!

I’ve purchased and enjoyed cupcakes from their food truck before, but I finally had a chance to visit their new brick & mortar bakery in Canaryville. I ordered a 6” chocolate birthday cake for my sister in law, and WOW, we were so impressed! The cake itself was moist and the chocolate mousse filling was light and not too sweet (ultimate Asian compliment when it comes to dessert). Having been a wedding planner in Chicago for the past 17 years, I’ve tried tons of bakeries. This definitely was delicious and I can’t wait to order more! We also got a few cupcakes and I’m even more obsessed with the carrot cake. It’s hard to find a good carrot cake (when it’s not Easter), and the whipped cream cheese frosting and candied nuts were amazing! Also, I called and ordered the cake one day in advance, and the owner Anna was kind enough to accommodate the last minute request because she said she wasn’t too swamped. Usually their website requests 3 days in advance for cake orders. Thanks, Anna!

Ordered via Uber Eats. Cute packaging. Good prices. This space used to be Bake for Me, so I’m glad someone took over and kept the cafe/bakery vibes. The strawberries on the berries & cream cupcake were amazing. Id have uploaded a photo, but naturally I dropped the prettiest cupcake. 😢

Stopped in after work today, met the owner and grabbed the coconut and double chocolate cupcakes. The coconut was for my granddaughter…both were amazingly delicious. This place is so cute and welcoming. Please stop by and support.

I can not say enough sweet stuff about this bakery. The bakery is beautiful and inviting, and the owner is soooo sweet, welcoming, and interesting. Her baked goods are fabulous. I live ubè, and it's not easy to find, but A Sweets Girl has macaroons and cupcakes. The blueberry scones and muffins were beautiful, buttery, and tasty. There was also a tasty homemade lemonade that was delicious. On my next visit, I am definitely going to try some savory eats.
