I came here for a take out order- no one greeted me for about 5 minutes standing at the front. When someone did come- it was a cold stare and I was just expected to order. When I realized a made a mistake ordering they would not change my order
Horrible experience

My first time here today with my friend. The atmosphere was amazing. I love the little details on the walls and the teacup lamps. Our waiter Roberto was so kind and recommended the best meal for us. We will definitely be coming back here. All their pastries are homemade by the way. The carrot cake was outstanding.

This place lives up to its name. I really like their Quiche, soups, their scones are very unique and are the best scone I have ever tried and I really like the chocolate cream cake and the sugar cookies. Their house salad is also amazing and whatever that dressing is made out of, it's amazing. It seems to get better as I go there more as well. I also really enjoy their French toast, it's so good. The other thing is that they give you a nice portion, so you can take it home. It really is a taste of heaven.

THIS place... is Chicago at it's best.
Its a fantastic place that we hit after dinner last night. My family loved the deserts they have.
Their carrot cake is the BEST... and the pumpkin cheesecake was AMAZING.. my other family members refused to let me steal any of the theirs.. so that's all I can attest to.
Live in the burbs.. but I will plan on taking friends here especially on a rainy or snowy day.

Rudy was awesome and very friendly. My breakfast was amazing. Nailed the eggs, hash browns, and their biscuits will make you slap somebody they are so good.

Best BLT & A wrap I’ve had. Very tasty, not dry at all. Totally hit the spot and meet my expectations.

pure joy. I lived and thrived in Andersonville almost 20 years ago, so I was delighted to know they're still around serving the community with all the sweets and savories.

The food is very good, reasonably priced in my opinion although the sides are a bit higher then they should be 👍

Confused by all the positive reviews. Went in for a slice of cake and it had such a weird texture I didn't finish it. Overpriced too.
Some of the best breakfast I’ve had in Chicago but recently it has gone downhill. Their cakes were a famous staple but now they are far from good and strangely do not sell any whole cakes anymore.. only slices. Sad to say I will not be ordering my birthday cake from here anymore.

Today, we visited this institution for the first time, and I want to share my impressions. The food is very tasty, and the portions are very large. For two adults, the check amounted to 45 dollars. The staff is friendly. On the downside, the decor decorating wall is very dirty, and I do not want to think that from above all this dust flies to your plate with food. So, four stars.
