Went here for a private event. Passed out food samples that was delicious. We ended up staying after the event ended to try some more food.

Their margaritas are one of my favorites I’ve ever had. They mix it in front of you! They also offer a great happy hour deal throughout the week!
Kind staff, and their food is wonderful too!

Came in with a friend to try this place out. We both got the chicken and barbacoa tacos, which both were juicy and flavorful. Chips and salsa were provided on the house upon request. I ordered some cheese on the side and it tasted and smelled a little spoiled. Since we already put the cheese on our tacos, we asked to have our tacos remade, which they did with no issues. However, our server was nowhere to be found. After she took our order, she did not quality check our table nor was she the one who replaced our food. We appreciated the consolidation and teamwork from her coworkers, however we would have loved for her to be more present. Although we enjoyed getting to know the staff members, we would have preferred to have our waitress take care of us, who seemed to be getting along with the other guests wonderfully.

Queso was good. Food was mediocre. It was a hot day outside and just as hot in the restaurant

I’ve walked past this place a million times and finally popped in for dinner. The food, service and drinks were great, patio is super nice but the prices are high. Recommend the chopped salad and birria tacos.

Hit up Adobo Grill for dinner and drinks. Started with the tableside guacamole, made fresh with all the fixings. Had the Al Pastor tacos next, roast pork with caramelized pineapple on homemade tortillas. Both were on point. Washed it down with a couple margaritas, strong and served with a smile. Vibe was lively, staff was friendly, and the patio was perfect for a summer evening. A bit on the pricier side, but worth it for the quality and experience.

Food was solid and the service was good, but the prices were pretty steep for Mexican food. Didn’t feel like the prices matched the quality and atmosphere of the restaurant. I understand Chicago is like that but I’ve been to a fancier Mexican restaurant in the city with cheaper prices than this place. It’s worth visiting but I wouldn’t frequent this place. This also seems like it would be a better lunch spot than dinner spot, but they have no lunch hours at all throughout the week.

Stopped by Adobo Grill on North Ave before catching a show at Second City across the street. The vibe was lively, and the staff made us feel like old friends. We kicked things off with their tableside guac, and it was spot on—fresh and flavorful. For mains, I had the tacos al pastor, and my friend went with the chicken enchiladas; both dishes hit the spot. We couldn't resist the Adobo margaritas, mixed just right. All in all, we spent about $90 for the two of us. Solid spot for Mexican in Old Town!

Chili Relleno no longer authentic now pre-made (frozen and microwaved) with tofu and vegetables. So so sad.

It was a Sunday so things were a little slow there which made it surprising that it took so long to put in our food order. But as always the food was excellent and the house Margarita is one of my favorite around all of Chicago.

Great food. The fish tacos were delicious. So was the chips and salsa and other dipping sauces. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. It wasn't very busy at the time we went to eat, but it's probably busy at other times of the day.
Would definitely return to eat here again, when I come back into town.
