I wish the music playlist was a bit more hip and extensive vs lobby/elevator vibes. Coming here as often as I do and staying here as long as I sometimes do, the music vibes matter.

Stopped by AfterBar after work, and man, this place is a hidden gem in the West Loop. The vibe is sleek and modern, with this cool glowing bar that just draws you in. Ordered the Payday Millionaire cocktail—bourbon, rum, and a hint of banana—it was smooth and hit the spot. Also tried their crispy Vietnamese duck wings glazed in a sweet and savory fish sauce; they were finger-lickin' good. Spent around $50 for the drink and the wings, which felt fair for the quality. Perfect spot to unwind after a long day in the Loop.

Drinks were good… BUIUT coming from a Hispanic person it was disappointing. I asked a bartender (colored gentleman ) what he was making because it looked good. All he did was laugh at my face and walk off like if I couldn’t afford it or I didn’t exist.A Hispanic bartender helped and I ended up giving him a great tip. Just because a person doesn’t look like all others doesn’t give the right to judge.

I had a great experience here. My friend and I went here for a quick bite and a drink. The drinks were creative and tasty. We ordered a truffle pizza that was SO delicious. The atmosphere was very nice, classy but relaxed. They also have A+ service. Our drinks came out quickly, but the food was taking a little longer. I checked with the waitress (who was lovely) and it turns out they had finished making the pizza, but forgot to bring it out. The kitchen was closed so they couldn't reheat it (although it was still quite warm) so they comped out entire bill! They really went above and beyond. Highly recommend this bar.
