The chef is very friendly and the service is good. I don't really like how much wasabi they put into sushi, it's more like American style omakase. Yuzu drink is very good though

I've tried various omakase places in Chicago at different price points. I took my significant other to Aji for his b-day as he has never tried omakase in general. I was warned by my friend that rice isn't all that great or seasoned well. Aji Omakase is absolutely spectacular! The sushi was incredibly fresh, beautifully presented, and full of amazing flavors. Each piece felt like a work of art, and you can truly taste the chef’s passion and attention to detail. The service was warm and attentive, making the entire experience unforgettable. Hands down one of the best sushi experiences I’ve ever had—highly recommend!
