Minimal but well-executed menu. Very attentive service. I'll be back for the delicious ramen.
Delicious monthly specials, a cozy environment, and attentive service set this ramen spot above the rest. I do wish prices were a bit more affordable, but I can tell that the ingredients are quality.
Great ramen! Broth was amazing, noodles are amazing. Limited menu makes it easy and quick to get your food. Was in and out in 25 minutes. Very nice, would definitely come back again.
Thought the soupless tantamen was as good as always. Can't go wrong with that one. But was disappointed that the akahoshi miso ramen wasn't as good as it used to be. The broth wasn't as flavorful nor the pork chashu. The chashu rice bowl was also not as good as I remembered. The pork was slightly overcooked. Hope it was just a one time mishap.
Awesome space, super friendly & helpful service, and the best ramen I have had in the city
Ramen was fantastic, pretty sure the owner was there serving bowls of ramen as well. Haven't had ramen this good since Kizuki closed down further down Milwaukee. Will definitely be coming back.
a great experience all around, delicious food, great service & a really nice general atmosphere! we will definitely be back :)
Soup is good but the noodle is more like SOBA noodle. Also you have to pay 20% mandatory gratitude without prior informed. The service is very standard.

Amazing food, very flavorful, Midwest bowl was the group favorite along with the monthly special. Service was subpar for a place that includes 20% tip, we went almost the whole meal without water and had to ask someone other than our server for stuff saw them twice maybe three times our whole meal.
Outstanding and perhaps the best bowl of ramen we've had outside of Japan. The quality here is exceptional — from the depth and richness of the broth( we tried the miso and the Shio) to the perfectly cooked noodles and melt-in-your-mouth meat, every element pays genuine homage to traditional Japanese ramen. You can tell they care deeply about the ingredients and the craft. It's rare to find a spot that captures the soul of ramen so authentically. Shoutout to also sourcing the cowboy sake as that's one of our favorites! We'll definitely be coming back to try out the monthly special real soon

Outstanding food and service! The staff helped make our celebration extra special and the ramen was top tier.
One of the best ramen restaurants in the country. Rich broth, tender pork shoulder and homemade noodles for a perfect bowl of ramen. The service was very attentive and friendly.
I got the ikura bowl, akahoshi ramen, and cup of sake. The food was good but not like wait for 3 weeks reservations good. Ikura bowl was nothing special. The ramen broth was good and the noodles were good but seemed very ordinary.
I feel like 20% automatic tip is annoying. They are basically saying they don't want to be rated with their service.
Which honestly was mediocre too. I sat at the bar and the waiters were really passive aggressive. I looked around and they were too busy talking with themselves, so i asked if i can order. The tall guy was like uhhhhhhhh yea....... like i asked something weird, and handed to another guy who started with a snarky what do you want. They also didn't have the sake i ordered and while i was reading the 2nd one, he cut me off... just didn't really seem hospitable. I mean im not looking for overly exciting personality but 20%? Definitely not up to the par.
Prices were good, just not worth the hype. I would go if the wait is less than 15min, but definitely not a wait 2 hours or more place.

The ramen was delish. So flavorful. Very filling. My only gripe is we had only been there just over an hour and they told us they needed to turn over the table for the next reservation. I have never been expected to eat in an hour. Good thing we didn't get dessert I guess.
The Miso was ok. Not much depth to the flavor. They also automatically put a 20% service charge on your order and then put a tax on that service charge.
