Fantastic little sandwich shoppe that now has a very well deserved spot on my 4.7+ > 100 Reviews list for Illinois.Unique and delicious sandwiches you won't find anywhere else. I got the CK1 the Bombay Chulet and loved both. I will definitely be back.

I wanted 20 minutes for a sandwich to go and was given the wrong sandwich. I am a vegetarian and ordered the Cousins and was given a turkey sandwich. I do not spend $17 on a sandwich for this kind of experience.

I can’t eat pork and they wouldn’t make the sandwich I wanted without prosciutto. They do not care about allergies or intolerances.Response to the owner:The owner responded, claiming I am the only one star they’ve received. That is not true. I can see that somebody else had the same issue as me, in which the owner responded and claimed, similar to in this post, that that they “? will modify for allergies or intolerances.” This is clearly a lie as can be seen from my experience. I nicely informed about my dietary restriction regarding pork and was declined. Claiming it to be a miscommunication seems unlikely based on the experience of others…Moreover, the owner’s comment about Subway doesn’t really quite apply…I was merely asking to not put a certain meat on the sandwich. I wasn’t asking for a different ingredient, extra of the other meat, or anything else. If the sandwiches are made fresh, it shouldn’t be hard to NOT put a meat on the bread. So bizarre to say no to that. I worked at a sandwich shop myself for a summer and have never seen a request like that declined. Also, 50% of the sandwiches have pork, not just two.

Wow!!! We initially came for Evette’s (one of our faves) and saw the sister restaurant next door so decided to try this place out instead and we were not disappointed! After much deliberation (everything sounded SO good), we ordered the T & Bree and Tatanka. We were really impressed with the flavors! Highly recommend stopping by, we will definitely come again!

WOW! We found this place through reviewers on Instagram and I'm obsessed. We drove over and were able to find a parking spot on the street but it's also on the bus route. We ordered ahead so we weren't interacting with the staff to comment on the service. The interior was bright, open and beautiful. We did takeout and heated our sandwiches at home. I got the Tatanka and my partner got the Bombay chalet. We liked both so much that we split them! Cannot wait to go back and also to try Evette's!!

Sandwiches were good but nothing spectacular. While I did enjoy them these things are expensive. Tis basically $15 per sandwich. The menu sounds extremely intriguing however the fog in the turkey sandwich was muted as was the buffalo chicken sandwich. ''Twas still good but I just expected a more bold burst from both sandwiches based solely off the descriptions. I'd be confident at ranking them amongst the best but not grail status as of yet.

This is an inconspicuous little spot on Armitage, but houses some of the best sandwiches and soup I’ve had since moving to Chicago in 2014! Small but cozy atmosphere, friendly and fast service, and I found the prices incredibly fair for both the quality and size of the sandwiches. This place really should be more well-known! I highly recommend giving this lovely spot a try!

I can't stress enough that this was the BEST SANDWICH I've ever had. The fig jam!! Chefs kiss!! Plus the atmosphere and Taylor Swift references were excellent.
