Had a lovely time at this bar one weekday this summer. We were in town with our dogs and looking for dog friendly spots to hang out. River Shannon touts itself as *the* dog bar in the city so we decided to give it a try. I went to DePaul so I was very familiar with the area, but had somehow never been here. I was visiting family and wanted to find somewhere to go that I could take the pup with me -- and I didn't want to be forced to sit outside (you're only about 1/3 dog-friendly if you only allow dogs outside... cuz Chicago sit-outside season is about 1/3 of the year). Anyway, this came up in a search and was in the old neighborhood, so it seemed like it'd be a fun place to try.
