“Best place to eat in Chicago! I started going there when the owner became a client of the company I was working for in the mid-90s, setting up cash registers in the restaurant he opened for his nephew. I no longer live in Chicago, but make it a point to stop there and speak with the owner every chance I get. Always great food and exceptional service! You may have to wait in line, though. Understandably, it's a very popular place!“

“Vibes are incredible in this Irish pub. Cozy as sin, fireplace in the corner. Lots of warm wood. Great live Irish tunes were being played on a Wednesday. Absolutely great pint of Guinness being served here. Guinness onion soup was a highlight as well. Can’t wait to return.“

We arrived with a group of 14 and they made sure we (and everyone) were all taken care of throughout the evening. Pizza is fantastic (think cheese-pull) and their selection of beers seltzers and ciders is impressive for a place this size! Our server, Shawn, was so attentive and covered all the menus for us! Even recommended adding chorizo to their poblano corn dip, which was a total game changer. 100% worth a stop in if you haven’t been yet! Sit by their fireplace!“

Serena, Mickey and Tony are the best bartenders, along with the patient karaoke DJ, Ryan! We've visited pretty regularly for over a year now and my partner and I celebrated our birthdays with them. Bonus is that we order in food when we've had too much Guinness. We live a 20+ min drive away, but always make the effort to visit.“

“Cork & Kerry is a Southside iconic pub. It has a great atmosphere, beer & drink selection. The service is great. It's the type of place you will run into someone you know. They don't serve food there, but they will let you bring it in. There is a great party room for any occasion. There is plenty of room for at least 75 people comfortably. You can bring in your own decorations, food, and desserts. They will let you run an open bar tab or customize the occasion to your price range. Parking can be tricky depending on what day of the week you visit. There is only free street parking. You may have to drive to a side street unless it's not busy. Overall, Cork & Kerry is a great Southside Irish bar to visit.“

“I stopped by on a walk and decided to check this out prior to selecting a dinner spot for my trip in Chicago. Greeted with charm as I requested to just take a glance at the space. We ended up coming back around 7 pm for dinner and I have to say… it was a stellar choice. Willow was a delightful human to serve us. We picked a seat in the window, it was a romantic and cozy vibe. Low lighting, just perfect for a dinner with a friend. Shepards Nachos are a MUST. Beef Tips…a must. Get the cheesecake… Shoutout to Willow for being a wonderful person to be around during our trip.
