“This place has my absolute favorite cider on tap. It basically ruined all other ciders for me. The food is delicious. I'm gluten free and there is great food for me. They have lovely trivia nights on thursdays and live music too. It is a lovely place. I highly recommend it.“

“My wife and I visited Chief O’Neil’s last night for a late drink during a quick trip to Chicago. We were personally greeted and served by proprietor Anluan McKinney who took great care of us and told us about the pub’s history. The food and drinks were wonderful and the pub was clean, comfortable, and authentic. It may be my favorite Irish pub in the US.“

“The team working was great, friendly, attentive and that alone provided a fantastic atmosphere. We arrived with a group of 14 and they made sure we (and everyone) were all taken care of throughout the evening. Good drink specials, good music all in the heart of a Chicago neighborhood sounds like a winner to me. We will be returning, and if you’re ever in the neighborhood you should stop by. “Food: amazing. Drinks: amazing. Service: amazing. Ambiance: amazing. Really though. The wings are huge so you’re actually getting your money’s worth for once. Pizza is fantastic (think cheese-pull) and their selection of beers seltzers and ciders is impressive for a place this size! Our server, Shawn, was so attentive and covered all the menus for us! Even recommended adding chorizo to their poblano corn dip, which was a total game changer. 100% worth a stop in if you haven’t been yet! Sit by their fireplace!“

“Amazing place! I’m gonna say I’m a picky eater and usually fried fish isn’t something I would order because I’ve actually tried Fish and Chips in Ireland and wasn’t impressed due to it being too greasy and salty. But OMG how glad I am that I gave Fish and Chips another go at Fado. They completely changed my perspective on this dish! The fish was not overcooked at all, it was so flaky and tender and the batter was sliding off the fish - it didn’t feel greasy or heavy at all. I could actually taste the fish! The potatoes were thick and perfectly cooked also. Another thing I’d never usually order would be the Irish coffee since I just don’t like whiskey or cream or something too sweet lol. But it came recommended and I wanted something to top off my meal with. I communicated my preferences to the bartender and she made some modifications to create what I would call a perfect beverage for me. I really appreciated it because her patience and attention really changed my perspective on Irish food. I would absolutely have Fish and Chips and Irish coffee here again! Plus, overall it’s a very cozy homey place. Thank you for a great experience !“

“Last time we had the wings they were delicious, this Thursday they were dry, like they were sitting under a heat lamp and then tossed in sauce Disappointed. Had a BLT it was good! Husband had the chicken panini. It was delicious. Yes, we highly recommend going here. I think that the wait staff needs some more training. 👍“

2) Great little dive, never spent too much for a drink here, which is awesome for Lakeview. $8 for a beer-shot combo and those guys behind the bar are solid as hell. Less than $20 to get drunk, but you can get a couple beers for under $10 👌👌“

“I stopped by on a walk and decided to check this out prior to selecting a dinner spot for my trip in Chicago. Greeted with charm as I requested to just take a glance at the space. We ended up coming back around 7 pm for dinner and I have to say… it was a stellar choice. Willow was a delightful human to serve us. We picked a seat in the window, it was a romantic and cozy vibe. Low lighting, just perfect for a dinner with a friend. Shepards Nachos are a MUST. Beef Tips…a must. Get the cheesecake… Shoutout to Willow for being a wonderful person to be around during our trip. Excellent service. 👌👌👌 We will be back. 💚“

“My dad and I came in for food and drinks before the sox vs. dodgers game, we had such an awesome experience. He had the grilled cheese cheeseburger while I had the Latino burger. The fries here are arguably the best type of fries which just added more awesomeness to my opinion of the place. The mac and cheese was great and super cheesy, the burger was FANTASTIC. The blend of flavors were so good.
Was also awesome to be there while they had representatives there for Super Lyte which was a plus.

“Gracie’s is the perfect neighborhood spot to have a cold brew with your friends! Popcorn and darts just add to the lively atmosphere. However, the best part of Gracie’s is when Danny is behind the bar! He pours the perfect Guinness and is just a joy to be around, definitely stop by Gracie’s, you won’t regret it!“

“We came here for an after-dinner drink before heading out on town, and really glad we found the place. A great, basement, bar with pool tables, TV's and a good time. “The menu had just the right amount of selections to have something for everyone without having that dreaded large menu that says, "stay away." The cocktails were amazing and the food was soooo good! “Best place to eat in Chicago! I started going there when the owner became a client of the company I was working for in the mid-90s, setting up cash registers in the restaurant he opened for his nephew. I no longer live in Chicago, but make it a point to stop there and speak with the owner every chance I get. Always great food and exceptional service! You may have to wait in line, though. Understandably, it's a very popular place!“
