We stopped in on a lark and split the CK1- absolute delight. We didn’t have any particular expectations beyond a hot sandwich, and were very pleasantly surprised. The whole menu looked unusual but good, picked the CK1 and strongly recommend it. For a not-too-heavy lunch, half the sandwich was just right. It came out very hot, we actually let it rest a moment before we could pick it up and eat it, then it was delicious, particularly dipped in the Au jus. We would have come back...

We found this place by chance while visiting Lincoln Park and we will definitely be back and try other sandwiches! The CK-1 was awesome and so was the lamb sandwich my daughter had!

My friends and I went today to grab sandwiches and eat by the lake. After each paying $17 + $4 in tip we asked the man that gave us our sandwiches for a small bag. He rudely rolled his eyes and gave us a bag. Then our friend asked for a bag politely and the man said “who needs handles to hold a sandwich”.
