This is the best Mexican restaurant on the north side! It is small and intimate but the staff is super attentive and friendly. We got the queso con chorizo which was absolutely delicious. The corn tortillas that it was served with were so warm and fresh. Highly recommend the Clybourne cocktail - it’s basically a spicy margarita - so refreshing. Our server even brought us complimentary tequila shots. Highly recommend this place for your next taco Tuesday or tequila Thursday.

This is my 3rd or 4th time coming back here. The artwork is beautiful here. The service is always welcoming, fast and attentive.If you sit at the bar, the gentleman there is always pleasant. He’s given us free shots in several occasions, just because. If you’re unsure what to try, he brings good suggestions.The food is very flavorful. I typically always order the Sope appetizer, the chicken is JUICY, the masa of the sope makes for a perfect texture.I always opt for the enchiladas, they’re my to go to. However, I tried the Tampiquena and it tasted like I should’ve bought it sooner. Full of flavor!Try the Flan too, you won’t regret it.Great a date night, girls night, or get drinks and vibe.

This place is simply the best. Every single thing on the menu is delicious and makes it tough to choose what to eat each day (spoiler, there’s no wrong answer). The cocktails are also top notch prepared by one of the best bartenders, Jonathan. The service is excellent and your water will always be topped off without asking. The vibe is even better in the summer on their patio. 5 stars and an 11 out of 10.

Can't believe I haven't written a review for this yet and I have been here twice already. My first time here I was able to sit in their outdoor patio which was a perfect setting. It was spacious and perfect for groups. Service was a little slow at that time and we didn't get our food for a long time. Turns out we were forgotten. However, our server did get us a couple of free drinks due to the inconvenience so we were ok. Plus, I was with 2 of my besties so we were just chatting away anyway and the drinks were good.2nd time around I came in the fall and it was too cold to be outside but we did have reservations for 2. We came on time but from the looks of it, all the inside tables were still taken, so we just opted to sit at the bar as we didn't feel like waiting. The bartender was pretty nice and attentive so we didn't mind it.During both times my group ordered and shared the molcajetes. It says it's good for 2, but there is so much food in there that it can be good for 4 people actually! Molcajete is a fajita like dish, it comes with steak, cheese, veggies, and warm tortillas. You will run out of tortillas as there is so much meat but you can always request more. I highly recommend this dish as its tasty, filling, and a great price for all that food.Overall, a nice little local gem with good food and good drinks. Great spot if you are craving some good Mexican food and tasty drinks! I will have to try other food items on their menu next time I am here.

Stopped by and had a drink at the bar and grabbed some food to-go. Drink menu was excellent and the friendly knowledgeable bartender made a great drink. I had shrimp tacos and Queso Chorizo dip and everything was well prepared and tasty. Nice atmosphere and the place was busy.

We came here several times already. The service was excellent. Today was a different experience. My wife placed a order carne asada sopes and when it came out it was wrong. The server said she didn’t say steak and he couldn’t change it because the cooks were so behind. We’re not looking for any compensation but at least the order should of been corrected. We won’t recommend this place to our friends because of the service we received. There are other restaurants that offer better service and they correct any mistakes and don’t make excuses.
