This is my 3rd or 4th time coming back here. The artwork is beautiful here. The service is always welcoming, fast and attentive.If you sit at the bar, the gentleman there is always pleasant. He’s given us free shots in several occasions, just because. If you’re unsure what to try, he brings good suggestions.The food is very flavorful. My experience here is always great. My server/bartender Jonathan always goes above and beyond to make sure all my needs are met. He’s one of the reasons why I always love coming to Amor y Tequila, other than the awesome food.I just want to give props to having excellent staff, someone who’s always on top of it, and making sure my experience is amazing. This is the best Mexican restaurant on the north side! It is small and intimate but the staff is super attentive and friendly. We got the queso con chorizo which was absolutely delicious. The corn tortillas that it was served with were so warm and fresh. Highly recommend the Clybourne cocktail - it’s basically a spicy margarita - so refreshing. Our server even brought us complimentary tequila shots. Highly recommend this place for your next taco Tuesday or tequila Thursday.
